The property was beautiful

We traveled with a baby and upon check in they never mentioned we couldn’t use some of the pools. The kids pool was closest to our room but it was packed with adults so we walked to another pool and they told us we couldn’t be there with the baby. The dinner buffet was ridiculously over priced for what they served. They included a high service charge but they said the tip wasn’t included. I never got my deposit back from the hotel. I called to tell them and they hung up on me. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.

The grounds were beautiful and the architecture unbelieveable. There was art and opulence everywhere you looked. The infinity pools were lovely. Food was good. It is such a huge complex that you must take a golf-cart everywhere even to the lobby.

I was dissapointed that there was not a beach to walk on......my impression was when I booked it that it had a private beach. The ocean waves breaking on the rocks were beautiful to look at.....but go somewhere else if you want a beach to walk on and actually get in the water. We had to visit another place to get into the ocean. I was also dissapointed at the term I was given when booking of "all-inclusive". Be prepared to pay more that the set price on booking.com if you want to have access to everything. When I got there I was told that I paid for "basic" all-inclusive and they proceeded to 'x' out the places and restaurants that would not be open to me if I did not pay MORE for "premium" all-inclusive. Also they REALLY push the time-share thing and want you to do a "2-hour" presentation and offer you discounts on excursions if you agree to that. I did not want to waste my time while there to rest to do that. Be prepared also to make reservations for dinner and the places you are allowed to go and if you don't show up they charge you a "no-show" fee. Also some of the restaurants are off-site and you have to take the hotel shuttle to get there. We were not aware that we had to take the shuttle and missed our reservation resulting in a charge for 'no-show'. There were also little tiny flying insects that were all over the bathroom every night. They charge an extra fee for "sanitation" added daily onto my bill; around $5 a day. They could at least spray for insects when they "santitize" the room. Get ready to be charged extra in addition to what the price quoted is. This is the reason they won't let you pay ahead of time, they want you to upgrade to a true "all-inclusive" that includes the spa, a luxury pool, and some of the restaurants.

Timeshare scam taking more of your time than initially indicated. commercial / pushy . In general too much personnel?. Restaurant we wanted to visit was full. Restaurants were very expensive... and quality of food was not special. Outside the resort there is only desert / highway and other resorts...

We loved everything about our stay here! The facilities were excellent and the restaurant options as part of the all inclusive were awesome, tasty and great value.

The only thing we didn't appreciate was the property tour they enticed us to go on to recieve additional discounts on tours and things. They said it would be a 90 minute tour (which we could of lived with) but it went for 4 hours! it took our whole morning and left a bit of a sour taste in our mouth with how pushy they were to purchase property. People must say yes all the time but when you say no thank you I need to think about it they really turn sales tactics up. We also didn't like that you can't call ubers into the property to pick you up and then they charge extortionate prices to have their own transport take you to san jose del cabo or the airport. Other than that our stay was lovely and we would come back

Housekeeping staff and bell staff were excellent

Food was not tasty. Service was slow. Butler service was not as advertised.

The setting of the resort by the sea was breath-taking! The grounds were more beautiful than expected. Our room had spectacular views. The service of the staff exceptional. They made us feel very welcome and pampered. Tips were appreciated. The food was delicious ! The spa was amazing also. We will definitely be back!

The lack of clarity on the different all-inclusive levels (basic, premium, etc.) was confusing Some items on the menu like full bottles of wine are not included, but the waiters presented us with the wine list at dinner without letting us know. The options should be provided on the website. Also we didn't like how, after check-in, we were detained by a salesman trying to sell us the vacation club. And our drinks seemed watered down.
