The Crescent Hotel, Fort Worth

Cassus Clay was an unbelievable, attentive, and dedicated Bellman. From the moment my family and I checked in for my daughter’s wedding he was there to help us get settled in. By the end of the weekend, Cassus knew everyone’s name in our large family and was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Our stay was definitely made nice and more enjoyable by Cassus taking amazing care of us.

My boyfriend and I visited the hotel bar after a wedding and had a very upsetting experience with one of the bartenders. the bartender raised his voice and screamed at my boyfriend in front of other guests, which was completely inappropriate and humiliating. The bartender was an older man with silver hair and glasses, and his behavior was unprofessional and aggressive. We were shocked, as we expected a respectful atmosphere at a hotel bar. We left immediately and will not be returning. I hope management addresses this, as no guest should be treated this way.

We were met at the door of the Crescent Hotel by the most warm welcome and friendly person namely Mr Cassius Clay ,he helped us and made us feel so welcomed, we couldn't help returning just so we could see him again. We will be returning to The Crescent Hotel because of him. Thank you Mr. Clay .

The venue was very clean, the restaurant was excellent, and the conference was well supported (meals, tables, outdoor patio room…). Also, staff member Cassius Clay was very accommodating and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We are here for a work trip and both Cassius and DJ were extremely helpful in taking care of us and making sure we had all of our shipments. We are very thankful and they have both gone above and beyond. Thank you!

Street construction married our stay but that wasn't the end of it. A fire alarm had us fleeing our room ...but we were not informed that it was just a test and that we could return to our room. We had to ask, after cooling our heels outside for almost an hour. The fire alarm continued to sound even after we returned to our room. Our room had many odd things about it. There was a light switch that was partially blocked by the closet armoire. In the shower, the shelf for shampoo, etc. was on the wall opposite the shower head making items impossible to reach without walking several places...on a very slippery shower floor. There is a refrigerator but it is filled with items to purchase. There is no place to put your water to cool it, or anything else. Our room was showing signs of age: chipped wood, smudges, etc. There is only one smallish nightstand with not enough room for recharging the devices that everyone travels with these days. Our overall impression was "meh."

Phenomenal assistance from the bellman team, especially Cassius Clay. We stayed for a work event and needed a lot of assistance with the shipping and receiving of hundreds of boxes. He went above and beyond to help make our stay successful.

We are from Dallas, and had a family reunion over thanksgiving 2025. The staff was amazing! Especially with our 160 lb dog!! They built a bed in our room for her and gave us bowls! They made bacon for her on our first morning there! Everyone was welcoming to my entire family-70 of us made it this year! We were all more than pleased with the accommodations as well as the staff!!

Our room was ok but the shower had a large swath of hair and the room they moved us to had hair in the pillows.

He was warm, attentive, and seemed to know exactly what we needed before we even asked. His thoughtfulness and genuine kindness made such a difference in our experience. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only excellent at their job but also brings such positive energy to everyone around them.
