Charles Hope London Croydon

The rooms were very spacious, location very good, every thing was just a walking distance away from the properity, eg. East Croydon train station, restaurants, shopping centres etc. Ten Degrees staffs at the reception were very helpful and friendly.

It was very disappointing feeling when for instance, was told we need to buy our own toilet papers when we needed more of those. Always no laundry detergents provided for guests, which in my opinion should have been provided and included in the fee. No air condition in rooms expect the central air condition system. The apartment was too warm during the nights too. The dryer in the laundry room would have done with an operating instruction to make it easier to use. We couldn't connect to the WiFi on arrival and after 30mins international call tariffs with one of the Charles Hope's staff it was still to no avail. I suggest, Charles Hope update their website with more information especially concerning room cleaning/ service for we were surprise after been told on our four day of stay when we run out of toilet papers that they do refill only after 7days of stay, so was getting clean towels. Also we were ask, to take our trash out ourselves. If detailed information are provided, I think it couldn't come as a surprise to guests.

Property was great. Location excellent and staff very nice and the apartment as a whole was clean and bathrooms were great

Great property in a great location. Apart from a few minor broken things in the unit, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Will certainly be back!

I still had to show ID when I picked up the key from the concierge, and they made me wait to go to my room while letting another guest enter without a wait. The flat was clean and convenient, but the thermostat did not work. I had to open the windows to cool the place down from the unexpected rise in temperature

Location is great. Train station is across the road to entrance.

This is not a hotel although it may look like one on booking.com. It’s more similar to a hostel. You get the room and nothing else. They do not change the towels which is the bare minimum staying abroad and there is no house keeping unless you stay long term and even then it’s once a week. There is no AC which makes being in the apartment unbearable. Even with windows open you cannot sleep. On their website they say they will provide a fan. Not provided. There is no on site staff available after 5 pm. The bed is uncomfortable and springy. 2 toilet rolls were provided and hand soap was near empty. Not sure who this kind of place is suited towards but if you want a comfortable stay look elsewhere. This place is like a Lamborghini exterior and a Prius interior.
