The Rebello Hotel & Spa

I stayed at The Rebello for my first visit to Porto and it was such an incredible experience that they are now intrinsically linked and I can’t imagine coming to Porto and not staying here.The friendly staff, the quiet luxury inspired interior design, the incredible local food and the views are just a small list of what makes this hotel stay a truly luxurious experience. It allows for the best of both worlds by offering a peaceful yet indulgent oasis at the foot of the bustling city.

I've traveled to over 50 countries and my experience at The Rebello was one of the best. The facilities, service and friendly staff made it an unforgettable experience. It started with the room with a river view and balcony, the rooftop bar with the amazing views, to the great food in the restaurant.

Wonderfully designed hotel within amazing views of the river on both sides of Porto . Great roof top terrace with knock out views, great drinks. We had fabulous 2 bed apartment , fabulously appointed. Breakfast great. Pot and pan restaurant had great food- could do with lower lighting for the evening. Location great for port houses, WOW, and along the river boardwalk so perfect for morning run out to fishing village or into Porto . About 20 min walk into centre of Porto on other side of river. My only minor criticism is that would be nice if the room windows were as clean as the rest of the room so we can see the view from the wonderful window seats !

I stayed here for 5 nights using Hilton points. I booked a studio suite with river view and that was what I received. No upgrade. But several workers told me they were 100% booked on first night so no upgrade makes sense. Why should you stay here? The rooms are large, the view from my room of Porto was wonderful, and you can receive a nice quiet sleep here. Food was of excellent quality at breakfast and dinner. I debated whether to stay on the Porto side or on the Gaia as I did have many activities planned on the Porto side. However, while I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, people thinking of booking this hotel should realize that it will take about 30-40 minutes to walk to the Porto side depending where you want to go or you can use the Uber app. From the time I requested a car to when I was dropped off was also about 30 minutes. So ride share didn't save any time.over walking. Breakfast was typically very crowded especially after 9am. I would suggest you go earlier if you want a quiet breakfast. I went to rooftop bar twice and as other reviewers have mentioned service was inconsistent. The first time I went to the rooftop I was immediately seated and asked what I want to drink. My drink was then quickly brought to me. However, no one came back to ask if I wanted a second drink. The second time I went to the rooftop I was seated quickly but no one came to take my order for 10 minutes. The views are wonderful though.

The entire hotel staff provided such exceptional service and knowledgeable recommendations from restaurants to activities in town. Definitely recommend for all Porto travelers!

The location was perfect- off the path just enough to be private and quiet, but only a couple minutes walk from all the action! The hotel itself is gorgeous, stylish and everything was superior quality. The staff were all extremely professional and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room had an outstanding view of Porto from the balcony. The room also had every amenity one could need. The only thing that took getting used to was all the amenities require advanced reservations, so not all amenities were always available for use, including breakfast, dinner on the rooftop and the pool/spa.

My partner and I stayed here for our last night in Porto, Portugal as a relaxing spot before heading out early the next morning. Modern hotel with great view of the city of Porto. Rooftop bar had a beautiful view with good drinks and food. The rooms were extremely spacious and modern, but the overall layout of the hotel was moderately confusing and not entirely intuitive. Location wise, the hotel is a bit far for easy walking to the historic center but is very close to all of the Port Houses on the Gaia side. The spa space was beautiful with excellent treatment massage options, however the fact that kids were allowed to be in the spa during the afternoon ruined the ambiance quite a bit for their water wellness area. Checkin and checkout was moderately congested in early afternoon. Some of the little details were overlooked and the hotel forgot to setup an airport transfer for the next morning after confirming they had. Overall this was a great spot to stay for couples or families with a very modern aesthetic, but didn't quite meet a 5 star hotel experience when it came to the details of the stay.

It was an amazing hotel, great location along by the river, ideally placed for visiting the Port houses. Staf were great, really friendly and very helpful in dealing with your requests. Car parking was provided and at arrival we handed our car keys over to be parked and at leaving it was brought out to front of hotel for us. All in all excellent cannot fault it at all.

It was a great location.. Easy to get to anywhere in Porto, yet away from the crowds. Right near the Port cellars. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were large and view of the river was awesome.
