Bluff Shoal Motel

We were in the middle of everything in the village. A wonderful restaurant across the street.

This motel is nothing as we expected. It was small, rundown and no one was onsite to answer any concerns, The tv didn't work for half of the stay and the backyard/picnic area was a mess. For the high prices, this was not worth it.

We loved our one night stay here!

Great location and staff is most helpful!

Arrived at the hotel at check-in time and went into office as directed in reservation confirmation that we received when booking through the motel’s website. No one in office. A sticky note directed us to call a number. No response for thirty minutes. We were hot and tired and happened to think to try the door to our room. It was open and there were keys in the room. When we finally got a call back we were told it was fine to go in. We asked about a motorcycle parked in our room’s spot and were told there was nothing they could do and we could park in the extra parking area. We were also told it was after hours (3:30 pm). The motel was older but mostly clean with some updates. The best part was the back deck area that looks out over Silver Lake.

Property has some good points but No one was available to ask questions outside areas were not very nice needs some TLC Bathroom was not very clean figtures need replacement Could not get tv to work provided coffee maker without coffee pods or creamier??

The room was nice a little small but ok. The air conditioner worked really well but a little loud. Could not get internet service or wi-fi to work for us. It was easy walking distance to some of the places we chose

Although the staff was unseen, they were very helpfull. The room was small and dated and had an unusual unpleasant smell. After 20 minutes of waiting I gave up on trying to connect to the internet and the cable buffered every 45 seconds. The walls were so thin we could hear the people on either side talking.

It was nothing like the pictures or description. Had a very unpleasant smell. Internet and cable horrible. Seemed to be a stopover for fishermen. However, the staff were very helpful.
