Strathmore Hotel

Shower was broken, heating was on despite turning the radiators off, very hot room. Could with some tlc.

Money taken realised when I arrived home not in my overnight bag that I left in my room while I had breakfast which was self service and roof leaking in dinning room in several places buckets everywhere no where to hang clothes in room . Shower worked well bed was clean.£100 missing my fault for leaving it in room

Our stay was not very comfortable. The bed was uncomfortable, partition walls too thin. Had just dozed off to sleep when we were woken at 2.30 in the morning by people talking too loudly in the adjoining room. The whole hotel needs updating. Very basic facilities in the room eg no tumblers, no hair dryer, no floor mat in the bathroom. The room needed a thorough clean Breakfast: both tea and coffee were cold No bread for toasting. Replaced with frozen loaf, won’t be staying there again.

Would not stay again, stayed one night for a business trip. Did not feel particularly safe and I decided not to eat here. Cleanliness was an issue. A great location but a sadly disappointing stay.

Lovely sea view, comfy bed

We recently stayed here. The rooms are not as the pictures show. The rooms were very tired and run down. Beds were clean but the walls of one of our rooms had lots of water damage. Bathroom had black mold. Staff were really friendly but sadly a very run down hotel

A short break on the Lancashire coast, great hotel, a mile or so from town if you like a coastal walk.

Well I could give you all the poor qualities but no clean towels, all time we stayed no beds made tea coffee milk if used not replaced oh yeah no fried eggs for breakfast milk to be desired so buy your own as for staff they don’t care would never go back

Cheap and cheerful

Great horel, conveniently situated on Morecambe seafront. The view from the room was fantastic. Breakfast was really good and the staff were all super friendly, will definately return.
