Strathmore Hotel

The hotel was lovely. Our room was immaculate. Clean towels were supplied and replaced when needed. The bed was very comfortable. We had a sea view room. What a difference. We had breakfast on the last day. The young girl was very friendly and the choice of food on the menu was worth the cost. There was no rush to leave the restaurant either. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. Pets also were welcomed too.

Great friendly staff very enjoyable stay with a banging breakfast each morning

Very thin walls and ceilings/floors. Could hear someone snoring, and got woken up at 5:50am by person in room above me walking around. Next night could hear doors opening/closing - last time was around 3:10am. Very basic and needs modernising. Guy who checked me in was friendly and helpful. Everything seemed clean. Also sent a message to them on here twice but they never replied.

Very friendly staff. Took our dog who was welcomed by all. Out of town a little bit , but that made it quiet. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay again, thank you.

I stayed last night with my great grandaughter and my elderly dog who cannot use stairs The staff especially the guy on reception was so helpful We used the lift it was so handy to have and tge outside area lovely to sit and wstch the sea The room was great no problems atall Very comfy bed and we had a great sleep Breakfast lovely and somewhere to eat with the dog with us Ill definitely visit again All together a great night in a lovely friendly hotel

The free street parking is a bonus!

Really welcoming staff (I say staff...... There seemed to be one person there at a time, doing EVERYTHING, whether it be bar, reception or dealing with residents) They deserve a medal. But they're doing a great job. Room was small but we had a magnificent sea view which more than made up for the lack of space. Everything was clean, the shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The bar was very reasonably priced. Well definitely make a return visit.

The Strathmore hotel is a lovely hotel situated right on Morecambe promenade we got parked ok outside there are 2 disabled spaces at front the reception staff are brilliant always have a smile and can’t do enough for you the lift is good you just need to remember and close the gate or others can’t use it we were on second floor room 209 very nice room with 2 beds 2 windows large bathroom with plenty of toiletries coffee / tea etc gas heating 2 radiators so in colder times plenty of heat great views over the bay Breakfast was £8 very nice buffet style Sadly they were not serving dinners as they were trying to recruit a new Chef nice wee bar area as well. Plenty buses with stops just a short walk away taking you to town or to the lakes area there is a small supermarket close by All in All this is our second stay and they are Very pet friendly so I highly recommend the Strathmore Happy Holidays to you all
