Location and communication. Clean and tidy plenty of kitchen must haves. Close to amenities. Weather wasn't great but that can't be helped

The tele didn't work and there was no communication to return keys on leaving so they went to reception. Also I haven't had any deposit back. £50 deposit paid used £15 of power.

Absolutely nothing about this stay was professional, comfortable or value for money.

Price given on Booking.com was not the actual price I ended up having to pay, £140 taken from my account then wanted another £80 which I didn't expect. The chalet was very cold and I left after one night. Noisy neighbours, loud revellers outside in the morning, early hours. Wasn't shown how to work heaters. Just very unprofessional. And definitely overpriced for a dressed up shed. Next time will get a caravan or b&B as it's cheaper, more comfortable and accommodating.

Said dog friendly- but wasn’t. Had to pay for utilities whilst there ( it was freezing)), despite already paying over two hundred pounds for a two night stay. Owner was extremely arrogant when being spoken to about the problems.

The location was perfect for th beach

The extra costs. A £50 deposit was required which was fine, however then finding out they will use the deposit to cover the cost of the electricity we use was very disappointing. Then finding out they had storage heaters which cost a fortune to run, alongside paying for them to run a fridge and freezer. They also wanted an extra £10 for bed linen and towels. Towels were small and would barely cover a leg. The pillows were paper thin and they only gave one each. They refused to give the key lock code until they had received the extra money. On arriving to the accommodation when I rang to get the code they informed me the sky box was broken and an engineer was coming the next day to fix it. I was then expected to know what was wrong with the sky box when the engineer turned up, I wanted to escape people during my stay, not entertain an engineer and then get mansplained on how to use the TV. The owner seemed more bothered by the fact he had to pay £100 to get an engineer out than to apologise properly to me, it's not really my problem he had to pay to get it fixed, not very good customer service, it's like he wanted me to feel sorry for him. The outside patio had zero furniture to sit on, just one tiny table and a chair that was broken. The shower only worked once so I ended up having a cold shower, wasn't great when the place was already freezing. Very noisy neighbours who clearly live there, had us awake until gone 3am. We ended up leaving a day early as we felt uncomfortable, I spent the whole time obsessing over how much electricity we were using. And no doubt I won't see any of my deposit which takes them 7 days to return, why it takes that long is beyond me!! Absolutely daylight robbery after already paying over £200 for the privilege of entering the property. Do not recommend!

Can we please get in early

Lovely little challet and very clean too, the kitchen is well equipped (and beautiful), perfect location and nice and quiet. Great decking area on the back overlooking a green. Good size bedroom; we manged to fit our travel cot in with plenty of room to spare. We would definitely stay again.

The bed could do with a new mattress or topper adding and a couple of extra pillows (but I didn't check the wardrobe so the pillows may have been available)
