Location and cleanliness

Bed was awful. My wife went to stay here for 1 night. Her feedback was ... The bed was very unconformable. I could feel the bed supports under the mattress. At 2am I moved to the sofa bed. But that was worse than the bed. From 4am I had to squash up on the sofa to avoid the lumps I could feel on the sofa bed. It is now 25 business days since my wife stayed at this chalet and still no signs of returning the deposit (less the deposit for the electricity). So, if you book this Chalet, then consider the cost to include the £50 as it seems you will struggle to get it back.

Fantastic location right by the seaside! The property was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy and the heating worked perfectly. We would absolutely return to Mablethorpe and stay here again. The hosts were very responsive to our questions, and check-in to the chalet was seamless. The area is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery.

There was no Wi-Fi, and electricity wasn’t included in the stay, so any usage came at an additional cost, which we hadn’t been informed of before booking. Linen was also an extra fee, which we were happy to pay. Additionally, the TV wasn’t a smart model and had no internet connection, so we could only access Freeview channels.

Chalet was lovely, very modern. Brilliant location.

Was told would receive key code and check in 4pm we got there after 4pm and had to contact owner as still hadn't been sent the code. You have to send a photo of smart meter when you arrive and leaving as this is taken from the deposit and apparently if you tell them you don't want the linen and towel hire you don't get charged another £6! However I sent a msg saying I didn't want this and still got charged it however after having to wait over 2 weeks and having to ask for my money back I'm just chalking it up as a bad experience. Won't be using again.

The sofa bed wasn't really suitable for 2 people. It dipped in the middle alot so not ideal for a good night's sleep. Sofa bed more suitable for just 1 person.

Spacious bedroom. Great to park right outside Short walk to the beach and into mablethorpe

Poor customer services, poor communication Unusable sofa bed Only one chair outside. Ridiculous that electric is taken off the deposit. Had to pay extra for bedding, which we then had to fit ourselves. Took more than 2 weeks to get our deposit back. Would not recommend to anyone and wont visit again. Extra to take our dog. Really shouldn't be able to advertise on booking.com
