Ikos Porto Petro

This was our third Ikos resort after Corfu Odisia and Andalusia and a little concerned we might think a change would suit us more However once again we were wowed by Ikos - the resort gives quality service from all the staff of every discipline Immaculate rooms, excellent food, fantastic facilities and reasonable entertainment .The bonus at Porto Perto is the stunning location and scenery , yes the resort is quite a walk from one end to another but there is a more than frequent shuttle service for anyone with mobility issues .There are many reviews praising the hotel which we both agree with. OK let’s look at a few areas that could be improved - the wait for that first coffee at breakfast in The Market was sometimes longer than we would have expected and the evening housekeeping visit was quite early . These are very minor issues and do not detract from the long list of positives at this resort. Yes there are families with young children but at no time did we wish it was an adults only hotel. Well done Ikos for a beautiful holiday

From our initial greeting and entry to the resort we experienced the quality and standard that was to be the ‘norm’ throughout our stay. The wonderful staff at Porto Petro made every aspect of our visit a pleasure.

My fiance and I went in September 2025. This was my 9th visit to an Ikos and it did not disappoint. The resort is stunning and the location superb. Special mentions to Arthouros and Anastasia who were absolutely wonderful and made sure our stay was unforgettable, they were so helpful. Also to Mareira, Matthias and Artemis. The staff overall are a credit and genuine. The restaurants are superb, wide choice of food and drink. We had the dine out experience but preferred the restaurants at the Ikos. Great time to go as resort not overrun with school aged children and there were plenty adult only areas. The beaches are smaller than the other Ikos' in Greece but lovely. We were lucky to have very clear seas which were stunning. The decor and the grounds are beautiful and well thought out. Looking forward to returning to Ikos Porto Petro for my 10th visit!

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday - our first with our new baby daughter (3 months). We chose to return to Ikos Porto Petro, having visited last year as a couple, as we thought we would be grateful for the familiarity as we navigated our first family holiday, and we knew we would be well looked after. Ikos Porto Petro exceeded our very high expectations. Aside from the fantastic service and wonderful food and drinks, we were especially grateful for all of the amenities provided by the hotel for our baby. I contacted Maria (Concierge Manager) before our stay and she organised everything for our arrival including the following for our room: - Stokke cot - Tommy Tippee nappy bin - Chico Steriliser & bottle warmer - white noise machine - Stokke baby bath with newborn insert - Baby slippers, pillow and blankets in the cot! - washing up liquid for bottles. We were also offered use of a pram but we had taken our own, and use of a bottle washing service although we chose to wash our own. All of the equipment was clean and worked brilliantly which meant we could truly relax knowing we had everything we needed without having to bring lots from home! Maria also organised all of our restaurant reservations in advance so that we could establish an evening routine which allowed our baby to sleep and for us to enjoy dinners too! I was slightly apprehensive about being on holiday with such a new baby and how other guests or staff may react if she had periods of crying - honestly we couldn’t have been more welcome wherever we went throughout the resort. All staff made an effort to engage with our daughter, and there were lots of other babies and small children so no need to worry about other guests. For those with slightly older children, the hotel offers both a toddler weaning menu and a kids menu; and there are plenty of Stokke High chairs with children’s plates and cutlery available. You can also rent small push along bikes to support the children getting around the resort. Aside from being so baby friendly, the food in all restaurants was lovely as were the drinks at the bars. It’s unusual to have brands such as Tattinger Champagne included in “all inclusive” which is a lovely touch. The hotel also organised a delicious birthday cake for my Husband on his birthday. There are so many wonderful staff here but a special thanks goes to Misko and Sisa at the pool area - they were fabulous in looking after us, bringing drinks and other refreshments all day - they were so hard working and super friendly. Also to Maria, concierge manager, who was so helpful on email in advance of our stay. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend our first family holiday - lots of wonderful memories to last a lifetime in an amazing resort!

We are Ikos regulars (19 stays and 3rd at IPP) and from the meet/greet at the airport to leaving we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Chiara was our Deluxe concierge and she was always available, even on her days off; although we didn't know it was. The strong team is led by Mr Dirk and Jose Louis and the wish to offer a top class service is evident throughout the resort. Our dinner on our final night in the Spanish restaurant, managed by George, was the best meal we had had in Ikos in all our 19 stays. The food and wine selection was excellent. We did try all the restaurants and had good meals/wine in all of them. The service in the deluxe restaurant, bar and pool area was again excellent. The standout staff for ourselves were Marissa in the Italian, Julia in the Beach Club and of course George and his team. Ikos continues to impress and whilst it is expensive, I would hate to chose a cheaper option and be thinking I wish I was at Ikos - life's too short. Yes there are a lot of families with tots and babies, however we have had our own children and know that Ikos promotes itself as a Family Resort. We never felt the children impacted on our experience. We have already booked 2 stays next year. We have done the Caribbean etc and Ikos is the perfect fly and flop. it's a 5 star glide with 'Quiet Efficiency.'

We had a great time, views are amazing

This resort was absolutely amazing from arriving to leaving. The hotel was clean, modern and every restaurant had amazing food. Staff were all very friendly and looked after us like royalty. Maya was exceptional and went above and beyond and made our stay comfortable and one to remember!!!! She was amazing!!! We will definitely be coming back. Thank you x ☺️

We visited Ikos Portopetro to tour the facilities and gather information, as we frequent resorts around the world. At the same time, my wife was interested in the products at the Apoella Store, located inside Ikos. To our surprise, we were stopped at the entrance by a security guard (outsourced from a company contracted by Ikos). The employee was rude and impolite. I would like to express our outrage at the behavior of people who should not work in places like a 5-star hotel that typically offer excellent service. This occurred at 7:00 PM on August 2, 2025. We do not recommend

I can’t describe enough how beautiful this hotel is, stunning views from every angle, beautiful top class food and drinks, service is impeccable, staff are so attentive especially all staff around the pool bar! Nothing is too much for them! I can’t recommend this hotel enough!! Outstanding!!
