Breakfast was excellent and wait staff went out of their way to make guests comfortable.

Friendliness of the staff

Bar meal was not fresh & the salad was off.

Best time away over Hogmanay we have had. Stephen and his team in the restaurant and bar were exceptional. The food at the Gala dinner was superb as was the whole experience and the piper topped it. Hotel was lovely and welcoming with fantastic decorations and spotlessly clean. A big shout out to housekeeping. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere. The piper was a surprise and a very nice touch. The food and drinks were excellent, with the seven courses providing an interesting variety of flavours. Staff were friendly and very efficient, helping to make this a memorable evening.

Très bel hôtel, a proximité immédiate de la plage pour une balade c'est génial. Les parties communes sont chaleureuses et accueillantes, on s'y sent immédiatement comme à la maison.

Snooker table

Asked for no feathered pillows but still got them ,only stayed for 2 days as we as the weather forced us to go home ..No word of a little discount or even a one day stay later on in the year ..

Food was excellent and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Location was great and the beaches were beautiful. Even in the local village of Dornoch everyone was so friendly.

There was a strange smell in our corridor which carried in into our bedroom. It was either damp or iffy drains. The rooms themselves were pretty tired looking and could do with a bit of refurbishment but were comfortable enough.
