Northstar 1 - 1 Bed Ensuite by Together Travel

Location is very close to the John O'groats signpost. Free parking for residents away from the normal tourist carpark. Room was clean and spacious considering it was just a bedroom with en suite. Kettle and little coffee machine in the room, plus a TV.

Better signage for rooms that share an overall name. We were in "Buckie" or something similar with ensuite. At the end of the corridor there were 2 doors with the same name, with nothing to specifiy which was the apartment and which was the room with ensuite... In the end we just had to try keys and ended up lucky by picking the right door to try first.

Location and proximity to ferries to the Orkney islands . Foot passenger ferry right near and car ferry a short 10 minute drive away. Clean and comfortable. Free parking.

No Skylight blind (ripped off ) so woke up with the first light Bar fridge didn’t work No view from our room - unlike all the rooms shown online - we looked at car park Were not given WIFI password. Finally found on noticeboard back downstairs-then very weak. No wardrobe or a anywhere to hang clothes

Booking.com double booked the room 🤦‍♂️ But JJ worked her magic so we didn't have to spend the night in the car.

Felt a little like a student dormitory, no facilities other than rooms.

The room is clean and nice. The stay is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful

The location is completely confusing. First the address marked in booking.com is wrong. And the name of this property on the booking.com is the name of the room but not the property. Therefore, we spent a lot of time looking for the location of this hotel with the name. Finally came we called the staff for help. The staff is very friendly and helpful to help us find the location.

The room was clean and the location excellent. All it was missing was at least one chair.

No chairs in the room

Staff were great particularly the manager.

So difficult to find, better instructions needed for those coming for the first time
