The cleanliness of the property,it’s nice and warm

Good location on bus routes. Clean bedding and towels. We were given early check in, which after a very early flight, was really helpful.

The apartments are tired and unloved. Multiple lights not working, bare bulbs without shades in some rooms and a very dangerous loose carpet at the entrance to the top flat. Curtains and cushions were in need of washing.

The property was comfortable, clean and quiet. The location was ideal for the university, and it was easy to buy food across the road. It was simple to get in and out.

The host required that I send photo ID and also £100 damage deposit. After I did this I still got automated emails asking me to do it, which was confusing and made me anxious that my deposit had not been received. The host claimed the deposit would be returned within 24h of the end of my stay, but in fact it took a week and some emails before it was returned.

The property was very clean and tidy, about a 25 minute walk into the centre. Great bar across the road “Ryan’s Bar “, great food and at a good price. If you get the hop on hop off bus it stops just a short walk from the apartments.

Nothing really stands out, just a couple of things, the WiFi didn’t work in apartment one and the TV and WiFi didn’t work in apartment two. A folder in the apartment’s with some info would have been useful , but we didn’t spend a great deal of time in there so it wasn’t really an issue , but for some people it probably would be

The security deposit still has not been returned 16 days after stay. Conflicting info on email and booking.com correspondence some saying it will be returned within 48 hours and others saying 7 days and we are still waiting at 16 days at this point. Also asks for deposit in a variety of ways in different emails! I have pointed this out but no response from management which is incredibly unprofessional, thankfully I paid via PayPal and had to raise a dispute to get my deposit back. Absolutely shocking set up and non existent correspondence. No customer service whatsoever and it would appear from other reviews we aren’t the only people who have had this very disappointing experience. Im sure management would also consider this unacceptable if they were treated this way as customers, much needed updating on automated responses and messages to a clear policy which is adhered to!
