Great location, spacious, hotub

Wasn’t cleaned very well, toaster and oven had bits of food in it and tablets in drawers.

The location was great

The property wasn’t the cleanest we had to clean the windows the skirting’s and ledges were dirty, the quilts were summer quilts not winter so we were cold

Beautiful location, spacious lodge with hot tub Comfortable beds, communicative host was helpful and allowed us flexible check in. Hot tub was great! lovely big fluffy towels provided

Great location, cosy upstairs space

The bunk beds weren’t very comfortable but they done for 1 night

The location and how quiet and peaceful it was.

There was no lighting around hot tub except a security light so very dark in the evening.

The location was incredible, just on the lake and with brilliant trails right behind the lodge. It was a good size and layout and it was nice to have a place with a hot tub and that it was dog friendly.

Overall felt tired and grubby, lots of crumbs in the kitchen, milk stains in the fridge, a tea bag stain on the counter. I ran everything through the dishwasher as much of the crockery didn’t seem clean. Settees stained, my son said he saw poo but I thought it must have been chocolate stains. Now that I’ve read previous reviews I see plenty of guests have spotted mouse droppings and I’m guessing that must be it. All but one of the soap dispensers were completely empty. Shower fixture didn’t hold shower head so you’d end up accidentally spraying all over the bathroom unless you held it. Bathroom doors didn’t lock and some windows didn’t were a struggle to close. Solar lights didn’t come on for the hot tub so we had to sit there in the dark and the hot tub itself had a layer of grit at the bottom and didn’t seem like it had been thoroughly cleaned in some time. Hot tub shut off 15 minutes before curfew. Finally, both of my children found what we believe are bed bugs on the final night we stayed (see pic). Never seen them before but found them in two of the beds. It seemed pointless to complain so late in the day, we’re home now and thoroughly washing everything we took with us. There’s a note asking you to leave a 5* review despite all of this. It could be such a lovely place but unfortunately as currently stands it falls well short of that.

Very satisfied with our stay would definitely come again it was very roomy and perfect for a family holiday I will be bringing my kids next time .

Only thing was walking out the path to the hot tub wasn’t very private people from across the way can see you . Also no hand wash in any of the containers provided in both toilets and kitchen .

Location was perfect, hot tub was amazing even though outside lights at hot tub didn't appear to work. The views were stunning.

The fact there was a few things broken on arrival door on both bathrooms one didnt lock abd the other one locked but was very hard to reopen due to broken lock, toilet roll holders a bit wobbly and we were a bit worried they were going to break and there was a broken window handle in one of the double rooms.
