Luxury 5* Heart of The City, Fabulous Views

The location was near the river and not far from the centre of Belfast. It was a lovely apartment and I loved my stay there!

The damages deposit, it's the only time I've ever been asked for a damages deposit in all my years of using booking.com

It was a place to sleep

Lack of communication regarding a cot being available, responses when asked looked like they were automated. As we had a cancellation period, had no choice but to stick with our booking. Was told the charge was £10 for a cot and high chair, when the link came through to pay the fee, it was £20, no response to me when I questioned this. Got to the apartment to find a broken cot in one of the cupboards, then we received a message to say our cot and highchair was outside, so we had to spend the first evening of our holiday building the cot,which was unsuitable for a baby, a hard plastic mattress. 2nd evening we returned home to find there was no electricity, no explanation as to what happened or apology. I can only assume they needed to top up the meter as it was resolved not long after we contacted them. There is also a damaged socket for the heater in the living room

Location + Parking

Apartment nothing like the photos. 3 of us stayed, sofa bed broken. Window broken, heater broken all in the kitchen/living room. No response from host in relation to grievances. No response from booking.com either. Apartment not ready when we arrived at 1645.

Check-in and key system was confusing - needed to use your phone to enter which didn’t work for us because we were relying on wifi

The apartment was small but still fully equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable.

We were moved to a different apartment due to 'maintenance'. The original apartment we had booked was specifically chosen due to its excellent location. Searching online, the apartment we were moved to was significantly cheaper yet they only refunded us 70 pounds which was "a gesture to cover transport costs". The location was extremely out of the way for us and proved to be a major inconvenience. Also, their offer of a discount for your next stay with them providing you give them a 10/10 rating did not sit well with me.
