Suite too noisy

Very sumptuous property! Love staying in a palace that has so much history. The staff were amazing from arrival through to departure. Youssef was a star making sure everything was perfect and looking after us. He arranged an upgrade to the Sultana Suite which is an incredible suite I would highly recommend.

Nothing to say

There is not much to like about this property. Honestly total rip off. The only thing I can point to is the staff in the breakfast area. They are generally ok and did their jobs.

Where do I start. To start with they agreed to adjust my 3-day stay to a 2-day stay due to some unavoidable circumstances on my end. I have documented proof of those interactions. I was still charged for the full 3 days and despite promises to fix it, they did not do it. Secondly, the location of the property is terrible. It’s right in the middle of a courtyard and it appeared the entire neighborhood was out and about until 2/3 am. We basically were unable to rest for the days were there. Thirdly the hotel concierge assured me they had made the restaurant reservations for a popular restaurant in the area. When I showed up at the restaurant it was not done. Thanks to an understanding staff at the restaurant, we were able to get a seating after much embarrassment. I even sent a text to the concierge complaining about this and she did not even bother replying. The AC in the room was grossly insufficient. The management clearly does not understand what it takes to cool a room. Combine the external noise and a hot room and it makes for a terrible experience at night. Despite all the talk the restaurant in the hotel is no where near the claims made. I spoke with my guide and driver and they both told me I should have avoided the hotel. Bad mistake.

Honnêtement, rien à redire. Tout s’est très bien passé, je n’ai aucun point négatif à signaler.
