Brook House ― Free on-site car park

Hosts are very friendly and attentive, allowing us to check in early and provided some good local knowledge for places to go and eat. The breakfast was spot on too.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

Breakfast prepared to order and well presented, location was perfect within easy reach of local transport that with a bit of planning can take you to most of the lakes beauty spots, a bus pass proved to be a real bonus. Free parking on site a perfect addition.

For two pensioners on a three day trip everything was perfect.

liz and Graham was lovely hosts, really welcoming, rooms are immaculate, lovely breakfast, lovely hosts who go that extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay a hidden gem definitely be back in the future

Liz and Graham, the owners, made our stay a very enjoyable experience, they were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Whilst Graham made an excellent breakfast, Liz attended to all our needs. We were very pleased to be able to park our car off the main road throughout our stay in an area of the Lake District that can be difficult to park.

I really don’t think Liz and Graham could have improved our stay any more than they did. Thank you.

The owners Liz and Graham were fantastic and super friendly, 5 star service. Rooms were cosy, bathroom modern and comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious, thanks again will return once again in the future.

Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. Lizs knowledge of local walks helped us to find parts of Windermere that we’d never seen before
