"Ok, except to get inn"

The location was fine, and the room also

It was a nightmare to open the door, it should not be that difficult, we had to go to another location to get a master key, and when you arrive a 1:30 in the morning the only thing you want is to get inn

"Second stay at this place, and very disappointing experience in Room #1"

Modern and beautifully designed apartment. Its size is perfect for 1 person, but might feel a bit small for 2. The kitchen counter has all the necessary amenities for cooking or reheating meals. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with everything needed. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly during my entire stay. The self check-in process is very easy – just watch the video instructions they send before arrival and follow the steps. The apartment’s location is excellent: close to the heart of Budapest and right in a lively party area. There are many restaurants, late-night fast-food options, and grocery stores just steps away.

This was my second time staying at this place. A year ago, I stayed in Room #2 and really enjoyed my stay. But this time they put me in Room #1, and it was a very bad and frustrating experience! First of all, communication with the management through WhatsApp was terrible. It originally took them a full day to respond when I messaged three days before my arrival and asked for a room at the end of the hallway (#3 or #4) to avoid as much noise as possible. Their answer was NO, and instead I received the worst room! Apartment #1 is located right next to the front entrance, and its only window (which is actually more like a balcony door with small windows on top) faces the building’s internal hallway. This means there is no natural daylight at all – the apartment is dark even with the curtains open. On top of that, a lot of noise from the hallway comes inside; the apartment is not soundproof at all. The bathroom had a broken shower stall, and water leaked all over the floor every time I showered. No small towels were provided – only two large towels and one floor towel. Housekeeping is not included and costs €35 per cleaning. Also this time, unlike my previous stay, they did not allow even a one-hour late check-out (another NO from them). Overall, this stay was very disappointing, and I have no desire to return. Take my advice: if they assign you Apartment #1 – just cancel and don’t ruin your stay if you value your comfort!

"Very Good"

This is a very nice apartment that has been recently renovated. I had a nice couple days here. It has a very comfortable bed. A great shower, super fast wifi and AC. There is a large square with an M2 metro station stop about 6-7 minutes walk away along with a supermarket and an abundance of restaurants in the area and there is a laundromat with service about 5 minutes walk away as well. The area can be a little lively at night - lots of people about but I was never bothered.

I think there was some initial miscommunication about access to the apartment. I didn't get the check in instructions which caused some issues. Luckily a guy came right down and let me in. I don't think the access for this building is right - the fob required to access the outside is in a lockbox. You have to remove that in order to let yourself in and then you would have to take it off the hook to let yourself through the inner gate - wedge that with something and put the fob back outside. When I got back second night the fob had gone. 3rd night I had to tail gate some people in who were staying in apartment opposite mine and they told me they had taken the fob! This is a really dysfunctional way to control access and its clear other people hadn't been given the correct instructions either. This needs to be improved. Why can't guests have a fob to access the building along with the card to access their apartment? Something is not entirely right here. I mean I was able to get in every time because people were coming and going but it was a little annoying. I might have been in trouble if it was REALLY late.

After arrival we discovered that the property was infested with bed bugs, after contacting them directly their communication was abysmal and whilst waiting for them to actually look into the situation and get back to me I was sent a generic message saying they hope I’d enjoyed my stay, even though they were aware we had checked out on the first night late at night with no where else booked due to the poor conditions they had left the property in for us on check in. Even still waiting on them getting back to me now and every time I have messaged them they respond with a generic message saying it has been passed onto somebody else to look into. Hygiene standards were awful

"Terrible experience: open dustbins, foul odor, and and no working elevator"

We had one of the worst experiences at this property. On the Booking.com listing, it was clearly mentioned that there would be an elevator, but upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed to find that the elevator had not been operational for a long time. The rooms are located in an old building with steep staircases, making it extremely difficult for us to carry our heavy suitcases up to the room. As soon as we entered the building, we were greeted by around 7-8 open garbage cans placed right next to the elevator, with a constant foul smell filling the entry area. The combination of the unpleasant entry, the foul odour, and the lack of a working elevator made our stay very uncomfortable. We requested the management to cancel our booking and issue a refund, but our request was denied, leaving us with no choice but to rebook another hotel at a much higher cost. This turned out to be one of the worst experiences of our entire trip. I am also sharing photos that will help you better understand the situation we faced.
