The bed and the sofa had bedbugs!!!!!!!! I couldn’t sleep there , and booking customer service didn’t answer . It was awful, and i will never book via this platform Again. Obviously the place was dirty. No amenities , nothing. Broken sofa, dirty towels, dirty bathroom, old furnitures . If you care about hygiene don’t go there. Key collection and drop off not convenient at all. I took pictures of bedbugs and also of the place of course, and i will try to contest this with customer service if they answer.

Really good value, clean, and well located for central Birmingham

The location was good—it was very close to the train station, which was convenient for early-morning travel plans.

My experience at Rotunda Apartments was truly awful. The room was nothing like the photos—it had torn furniture, sealed windows with no ventilation, and a terrible smell of smoke. The smoke detector was completely disabled, covered by a black plastic bag, making the room feel incredibly unsafe. The bathroom was disgusting, with a wide-open drain, a broken tap, and an overall dirty, neglected atmosphere. There was dirt and debris on the carpet, the cooler didn’t work, and the TV was just left on the floor, clearly not set up for use. I tried to get help from Booking.com, but they only offered me more expensive accommodations far away from my original choice or told me to stay in the same unsafe room for a partial refund. Even when I suggested moving to another flat in the same building—which was available—they wouldn’t help. I felt completely unsupported and had to find a safe place to stay on my own. The only good thing about this place was its proximity to the train station. Otherwise, it was one of the most distressing and unsafe travel experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend that others avoid this property and be cautious using Booking.com if they care about safety and getting the support they need when things go wrong.

A few aesthetic things that could be addressed, couch was ripped, the wall paper in one of the rooms had been damaged at some point .TV channels available were basic.

The key retrieval process, as unusual as it is, works. Location is great.

Didn't stay in any of the gallery apartments. There's only one word for the one I was in - decrepit. Filth, tears and breaks everywhere. On top of that, the smell of cigarettes permeated the whole space and there were no windows that could be opened, so it felt suffocating to be in there, to the point where I was considering sleeping in the bathroom. And all this only a couple of pounds cheaper than a 4* hotel I stayed in the next day. Big disappointment.

Location. Bed was ok comfort wise.

Windows unable to be opened, unbearably hot, had to sleep with the dodgy plug in air conditioning unit on overnight. Place would benefit from a good clean and makeover. Telly was on the floor in the corner, ripped chair covers, iron burn marks on the carpet, wall picture on the floor behind the sofa.
