Luxury York Minster Penthouse - Free Gym & Parking

The apartment was quite large and spacious; we could prepare our dinner in the kitchen, the amenities were satisfactory, and the shower was modern, but the beds didn't meet our expectations. The owner did his best to accommodate and meet the demands of his transient clientele, which were undoubtedly difficult to fulfill.

The apartment was clean and very comfortable way better than staying in hotel's, like being at home whilst being away made it so.much more comfortable. I will definatly be booking this type of accommodation again

Upon arrival which was slightly early, our alloted parking space was occupied, spoke to owner who asked me to contact Kirsty who could clarify who's car it was. Turned out it was the cleaner, no problem we went off for a bite to eat in town. When we returned an hour after check in time another car was in our space so tried to contact Kirsty again, 2 phone calls, a voice message and a text message, absolutly no response. I then spoke the owner after temporarily parking in another guests spot of the situation to be told their is obviously a mixup in the numbers and not to worry about it. No issues other than myself constantly checking to see if our allocated space was available for me to move into, unfortunately wrongly parked car never moved, until morning of checkout. When I went down to start loading my car I was greeted with a note pinned to my rear window informing me I was in someone else's space and if I didn't move I would be clamped. This vist was for my daughters 16th birthday and this whole parking debacle caused more stress than needed. Kirsty is pointless abd let's the place down.

It was very centrally based, not overlooked, spacious and comfortable.

Didn’t like the fact that there were no curtains at the windows, especially in the bedrooms. The vertical blinds were distorted and let the light in. I like it very dark to sleep.

Location was good for walking into York. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. All facilities available. Very warm and cosy. An enjoyable stay. Would recommend and stay again.

Lock on door of apartment needs attention. Needed to push very hard to get in. Would have liked a full length mirror in bedroom 2 and a chair in both.

Two bathrooms.

Finding key and trying to get door open, impossible. We thought we would break the door with the pressure needed to open it.

The unit was large and clean....

The front door needed to be hip and shouldered to open... the kettle had a lot of scale on the bottom...the window in the hallway opposite the bathroom is broken and needs fixing .. the blinds near the high chair r broken and need fixing. Matresses are not comfortable and the main bedroom mattress needs replacing. It was not comfortable sleeping in double beds and them not being comfortable.
