Sometimes a bit to hot inside

The staff were phenomenal - friendly and accomodating. Ming was exceptional and kept everything easy. Hana did a great job with the transfers - really, all of the staff were warm and friendly, competent and helpful. Also, the food was very good. Most importantly, the scenery and area were beautiful. Simply stunning. So glad we went.

There are areas for improvement - the rest stop on the way between Hanoi and the cruise was crowded (mayhem really) and uncomfortable. Secondly, there were some issues in our cabin - wire sticking out of the mattress and a couple of either minor things. You should know that the "cruise" goes between port and the anchorage only. You really see things on the daily excursions. If you only go for one night you don't avoid the crowds and everything is really busy - go for 2 nights at least and see some of the outer bay - pretty and less crowded. Swimming off the boat to a beach in the bay was just magical.

Would highly recommend this cruise, exceptional staff and exceptional surroundings. The cabins were clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. Very well organised, we particularly enjoyed the kayaking. Minh was a very attentive host.

We had a perfect time on the Hera Grand Luxury Cruise. Our cruisemanager Mr. Minh is very considerate towards all his passengers and kept our group together on busy moments. The trips were well organised and very agreeable. The staff on the boat are very friendly. We've also had help from Ms. Hana for the travel arrangements to the cruise and onwards for the next part of our journey. She communicated very clearly, also with Mr. Minh on the boat, so everything was taken care of. It was very pleasant this way. We loved the fact that we were on a smaller boat, with more personal attention. The Hera Grand Luxury is a beautiful wooden boat. A perfect location for a wonderfull trip! We liked the fact that we choose for a 3 day cruise, cause then you get to visit Lan Ha Bay as well which is less touristic and gives you more relaxing atmosphere.
