Hera Grand Luxury Cruise

Food was very good. Bed comfortable.

Boat a bit aged. Drinks fairly expensive. Only one water provided each per day passenger then you had to purchase.

Loved the spacious room and outside private deck area, the bed in the room was comfortable the bathroom very spacious too . The staff were very attentive.

It was a little old and tired in places and the wifi wasn’t very strong

The room was spectacular, we had a balcony and we put it to good use, food was good the waiting staff were excellent

A few maintenance issues but they have been dealt with

Really nice staff and facilities - food was decent

Would have liked the activities to be planned at a later time in the morning

An Unforgettable Experience on the Hera Grand Cruise – Thanks to Hana! I had the absolute pleasure of taking a two-night cruise on the Hera Grand Cruise in Ha Long Bay, and it was truly a highlight of my trip to Vietnam. From start to finish, everything was seamless, thanks in large part to the wonderful Hana, my representative. Hana was incredibly helpful, polite, and professional throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to arrange smooth and reliable transfers from the airport to the cruise, and even took care of organizing transportation for the next leg of my journey once the cruise ended. Her attention to detail made everything stress-free and enjoyable. The boat itself was stunning—beautifully maintained, luxurious, and comfortable. The room was equally impressive: spacious, elegant, and offering breathtaking views of the bay. The staff onboard were warm, friendly, and impressively attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, and their dedication to service made a lasting impression. The food onboard was fabulous—each meal was a delightful mix of local flavors and international dishes, served with care and flair. Itinerary highlights included kayaking through peaceful waters, exploring fascinating caves, and visiting a floating pearl farm. Each activity gave us a deeper appreciation for the culture and natural beauty of the region. Ha Long Bay itself is simply spectacular—towering limestone karsts, emerald waters, and serene landscapes that seem almost unreal. I’m so glad I chose the two-night option; it provided enough time to truly relax and take in everything without feeling rushed. I think a one-night cruise might be a bit short to fully enjoy all the experiences on offer. Overall, this was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hera Grand Cruise—and a special thank you again to Hana for making it all so effortless and memorable!

The food was great. . The activities very good. I liked Sung Sot cave and Titop island. The cruise manager Mr Minh was excellent. . Smooth embarkation and disembarking. Hana assisted with our transportation, and communication was excellent. Although we were moved to a 2nd boat for our 2nd night, this was treated as an upgrade and we felt we benefitted from the 2 boat experience.

The prices of the drinks are quite high compared with Vietnam standards. The cruise is already expensive. However, there is a 2 hour long 'happy hour' and prices are still lower than UK prices. The boat was a little 'worn', but this didn't affect our enjoyment at all.

The Food was the most amazing, in flavour, presentation and in abundance. Full gourmet courses, that just kept coming. Our Host was fabulous and explained everything and every adventure so well. All Staff were very attentive. We chose this one for the small number of passengers and more interment and was pleased we did. Some boats are big and noisy.

The staff were amazing, the activities exciting and catered for everyone. The location was spectacular.

The 2 night stay was perfect. Gave you a chance to see the beautiful formations and sit amongst them. The crew couldn’t do enough for you. Minh the cruise leader was excellent.

To be a bit picky the finer details for cleaning but can imagine how difficult it would be to keep the ship in service all the time and to attend to the finer details. Overall cleaning was great.

From the time when a did booking through booking.com I was assisted by Hana ..so nice of her..she arranged all our transport from Ninh Binh to halong cruise then to city and to airport in nice luxury car for our big 7 persons family in time and with in touch on single click..that means a lot to us when we travelling with kids..thank you dear Hana. Every thing from checking boarding in cruise was easy and quick. Food served each time was tasty and looking very nice .kids enjoyed lot. Cruise has many nice places to take memorable photos. Rooms are clean with pleasant light and views.. Outdoor Activities also very well planned and relaxing guided by Tony very nice brother thanks to him lot from all of us. Very caring person guided all us in every place with all time management..and told us hystory culture and geography of all vietnam.. On board activities also nice planned with food and coffee happy hours that enjoyed by all tourists like a big family.. and specially that were arranged in manner that all age group peoples enjoy.. we dance together and celebrated every moment . After dinner fishing also enjoyed by kids making them familier with sea and it's environment. Overall Hera grand is must do experience with high luxury activities and making your all time beautiful memories.. Thank you again..
