"Non-existent attempted scam / fraud"

Wouldn’t know, accepted my booking then left me waiting outside for 45 mins only to get a text message saying they’ve removed their property from the site and giving me a number to ring for my refund…but the number was nothing to do with Booking.com. Smells very much like a scam / fraud to me.

Paid for the booking but when I phoned the owner just before we arrived he informed me he was no longer listed with Booking.com and that i should contact customer services to get a refund. This i have done but have been told they will need to confirm the above. I am still waiting for the refund. Not at all happy with Booking .com. Will not use again for fear of it happening again.

Nothing as when we arrived the owner text me saying he had pulled his apartment from Booking.com and no-one had told us. I had to book somewhere else to stay.

Getting all the way to Birmingham to find we had nowhere to stay, having to book somewhere else, having to pay for parking at an ncp car park when it was meant to be free, an extra £56, having to chase booking.com for my refund.

UNABLE TO GAIN ACCESS DO NOT BOOK. NO ANSWER FROM OWNER ITS A SCAM. DONT BOOK.

We could not get into the apartment. No communication to say which number room or parking code. We tried to contact booking.com and the property, but no answer The building manager said it is a long term rental building. . We tried for 2.5 hours then had to leave and book other accomodation so we could sleep after driving for 3 hours. We would appreciate a refund and some type of communication.
