The Beech Flat - Self contained one bedroom flat with parking

Excellent location, property is nice and quite with the necessary amenities.

Heating has to be manually boosted every 2hrs to keep place warm.

It's clean and quiet

The heating system was absolutely horrible the apartment was extremely cold throughout our stay and i guess they intentionally set the heater the way it turns itself off in other to save energy

Good location for local hospitals. Very quiet too which was a bonus. The bedding was clean and bed comfortable.

The flat smelled of mould which struck you as soon as walking in. There was a dehumidifier switched on in the living area, which was loud and I imagine in place to try and reduce the condensation. The radiators were off, the flat was cold (winter). The radiators could be pressed on via a push button timer but only for a fixed and maximum 3 hours, so switched off in the night. The bathroom radiator was off - the control switch was not clearly indicated in another room. No instructions for the flat that could be found. I was in need of accommodation at very short notice and was lucky to find a room. I was disappointed that the flat was so damp and cold. (traces of mould on the walls around the front door). I had a cough the next day and did not feel rested. I would suggest that the damp needs to be addressed. A light by the keypad to see the access numbers would be helpful. I used the torch on my phone fortunately.

It was clean and private. It was a little cold in the bathroom other than no other issues

Nothing to dislike it had everything I needed

Mould, cobwebs, someone else's hair and razor found in the shower (gross).
