Some of the decor was nice

Dirty fridge, dirty shower screen, skirting board dirty as not fixed right. Patio doors filthy. No curtains so lots of bright light in bedroom on morning. No key available to open patio doors on the first day, patio doors didnt seem secure, wobbled. Location wasnt great, couldnt park as advertised as kerb hadnt been dropped outside property. Area next door very run down. Totally overpriced for what it is, I feel robbed. Luxury apartments in central Birmingham much cheaper. Couch really uncomfortable, felt like you were nearly sat on the floor, breakfast stools really uncomfortable. Informed the owner about the cleanliness but not offered any discount and have been charged £50 cleaning charge within price. There were cobwebs everywhere, all the pipework could be seen in bathroom, tile grouting and pipework looked dirty. Carpet stuck down with filler and tape in areas. Overall i felt like i was staying in a run down property which had been maintained by a dodgy builder. Very unhappy, feel like I should get a refund to be honest. I have booked lots of accomodation and never complained before...

Everything was excellent

Good location for visiting family nearby. Lovely park across the road. Good bus service into town. The property nicely decorated. Just a few small things to make it a more comfortable place to stay.

The bedroom on the ground level needs new mattresses as the box springs dig into your body and very uncomfortable. Better black out and curtains to block the street lighting. I would upgrade the pillows and duvets to a higher quality. Too heavy for summer season. Dripping tap in the kitchen and down stairs toilet not flushing. No hairdryer available either. But a few upgrades will make this house a home..

All in all an excellent place to stay in Sth Birmingham. Do pay attention to the host's helpful video for shower!I did not and completely failed to get it to work, while the rest of my party were successful.

The toys for a toddler. Our grandchild was very pleased!

Lovely property, owners had gone to a lot of trouble to make it homely and comfortable. Well equipped, easy to park, excellent location. Definitely recommend.
