Staff always tried to sell their own tours very often it was a bit much for us

The staff was great. The owner picked me up from the bus stop and he also gave us a free tour around the lake nearby. Furthermore, we were offered a free refreshing drink and tea.

The location is really great. Beautiful lake right outside. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

I will give this a 10/10 out of how much the owner provided for me. The view outside is amazing, just in front of the lake. So peaceful! So the room was okay. But the best thing for me was that the owner provided me a free tour around the place, watching sunset, crocodiles, bats and owls. He also took me to the atm, supermarket, and picked me up from the bus when arriving. Everything for free. And I can also recommend going with the safari that he is providing. That guide was also amazing, experienced, and affordable.

I think cleaning the bathroom better would make a big difference

It was nice and cozy, but could do more on facilities/amenities. Owner was really nice. Silent and peaceful location.

There were too many insects, supposedly because of the overlooking water area in front. But as per the owner will undergo much changes to infrastructure in the coming days, so would look forward to much better conditions and standards, ratings and reviews would change accordingly as the developments happen.

Host very nice and helpful, great tuk tuk ride around the lake, beautiful colonial furniture.

a 10 out of 10. clean, all you need, comfy beds, fan, quiet area, an ecxeptionally friendly host, free tea, coffe, breakfast and lovely food. also the lake in front of the hotel is just stunning! 100% worth a walk/drive around at sunset.

windows towards the common room, so if you dont do safari, put in some earplugs, bc people that book that location do that every morning at 4am:)

The place is beautiful, a really nice cocoon near the lake! The owners are really friendly and they offer you a bird tour in the evening with sunset stop. This experience was really enjoyable and interesting, the sunset on the lake beautiful.

The localisation of the hotel is not in the center of the city, but to us it didn’t matter since they picked us up in the front of the hotel for the safari. Anyway, I’m sure that the owner can arrange a tuk tuk drive if you need it.
