We stayed in room 4 it was clean and comfortable, shower was hot with great pressure, tea/coffee/milk/cookies. 10min drive to Alton Downs and the Cottage Kitchen 4mins up the road is 10/10 for breakfast. We had no issue with the codes to get in, you just have to do it slowly and be patient.

Looked like ‘bodge it and dodge it’ fitted the bathroom. But otherwise very clean and spacious.

Very. Clean and easy to get into. People were easy to get hold off. Very equipped.

Small bed was very uncomfortable. No walkable location for food and noisy neighbours.

The location was a good base for Alton Towers. We didn't really explore the area.

Tired room, single glazed windows thus road noise was an issue, condensation from windows has caused mould. The cleanliness was questionable, didnt use the shower, head looked disgusting. Poor quality bedding, mattress incredibly soft and thin, i might as well have slept on the floor, the quilt and singular pillow were also thin and cheap. Everything in the room was from IKEA and poorly assembled. I have since been in touch and asked for a partial refund, all they did was tell me I broke the law by suggesting if they did, I wouldn't post a review. That was accidental, here's your review. It was suggested that I should have brought these issues up with management, which I dont dispute however we had booked to stay here as we were leaving Alton Towers at 9pm, we didn't arrive until 9.30, tired. The room was freezing due to a heating issue, this was fixed, apparently around 11pm, by which time my 7 year old had already cried about how cold he was and we'd all gone to sleep. They did bring a small heater and blankets but it didnt do much. When I raised this, I was told I wasn't taking into consideration the fact it was repaired and it wasnt their fault. I do understand that but it wasnt my fault either and I don't see why we should have the inconvenience whilst still paying full price for a stay that certainly wasn't enjoyed. There was also an issue with entering the property, the door lock didnt work, we did get in thanks to the bar staff but when I suggested that we dare not leave due to this I was told it was later fixed, nobody had made us aware, therefore it made no difference to us. WiFi didnt show up on my phone, I was told it was being used by other guests, again that's no good to me. I mentioned i used AI to format the message is ent upon leaving, apparently that proved there was no credibility to what was said. The only reason I mentioned it was to excuse the tone.

Close to Alton towers, was a lovely place

The noise. I know it’s a Saturday night however it’s clearly stated the pub closes at 11:30 however there was a lot of noise coming from the pub until 1:30am from very drunk party and it was very loud. Was very cold when we arrived and couldn’t get heating on but was fine through night as must of had a Timmer. Would stay again if they fix the pub closing time situation as that’s a big problem for families. Thank you ☺️

The room was well presented and clean. Perfect overnight stay after a long day at Alton towers.
