"A really lovely place to stay!"

We had an amazing couple of days in the Weigh Office! The location is gorgeous and the property is very warm and cosy for a couple. It’s also extremely well equipped and has a lovely kitchen with lots of cupboards for food storage.

There’s nothing to dislike. The property is exactly as described.

"Cute and cosy cottage in a great location!"

Cute and cosy cottage. We had everything we needed. It was lovely to light the log burner and listen to the owls across the valley. Very peaceful. The owners are lovely and leave you to get on with it. The wine and cookies were a nice touch, thank you.

Fantastic location and everything you need is provided for your stay. Gavin and Wendy are brilliant hosts and on hand if you need anything. The Weigh Office is clean, tidy and comfortable and definitely value for money! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Superb location - quiet and beautiful! Just what was needed!

Bed up ladders at first seemed a little daunting for our 70 and 72 year old arthritic knees, but we believe that the minimal extra exercise and wonderful surrounding walks, actually helped us walk better! Just brilliant and we WILL RETURN!

The Weigh Office is a really lovely, well fitted out property in beautiful surroundings. It's in a nature rich, peaceful area with easy access to Penrith which has a good range of supermarkets. The property has a good sized kitchen with great facilities, and the house is warm and cosy and perfectly suited our needs. The bed was comfortable and with the window open at night it was lovely to listen to the owls hooting! The whole place was immaculate and all very clean and the hosts were on hand if we needed them.

The bedroom is a little tricky to access - especially in the night - but it didn't detract from our experience.
