"Prima huisje voor 2"

7.0

Locatie was mooi en het huisje was opzich goed ingedeeld. Bedden waren goed. Het was schoon en netjes.

Schuifdeuren bij toilet en douche sloten niet af. Handdoeken namen geen water op. Verouderde apparatuur in de keuken.

"Lovely cottage"

8.0

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It is stylish, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The surroundings are stunning, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the secure fenced outdoor area, which was ideal for our dog and gave us peace of mind while enjoying the garden. It is clear that a great deal of care and attention has gone into making the cottage such an enjoyable place to stay.

If we were to suggest any possible enhancements, it would be to consider upgrading the beds for additional comfort. The upstairs bed felt too small for two adults, and while we moved to the single beds downstairs, we found them a very uncomfortable . A larger television could also be a nice addition and would further enhance the guest experience. These are only minor suggestions, however, and did not take away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay. We would certainly recommend this charming cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings.

Host was very accommodating and happy to help with anything issues although there were none as Barn was immaculate and had all the things we could have expected and more. Example would be leaving us tea, sugar and milk upon arrival, and dropping by as it was exceptionally hot weekend and offering us a fan to use. Lucy and her barn are highly recommended and goes without saying would stay again

The fact we couldn't stay longer!

We loved everything about the barn. It was clean, warm and cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. It was a great base for Alton towers and the village was lovely and was only a short walk to the pub.

We loved everything, thank you!

"Amazing!"

10.0

Everything about the cottage was fabulous. Very thoughtfully furnished. There was absolutely everything you could need there and it had a great homely feel. The bath and shower were great with plenty of hot water. There was a lovely little outdoor area with a fire pit. The ability to go for hikes straight from the door was great. Would definitely rebook!

It was all great!

"The perfect place to relax and unwind, a real gem in the Peak District"

10.0

What a fantastic little place this is. We stayed for a short weekend along with our dog. From the first point of booking Lucy was on hand with great communication and extensive information regarding our stay. The barn is absolutely stunning, nestled in a quiet corner of the picturesque little village of Brassington it stands proud with its striking red paintwork and adjacent landscaped garden. Inside a fantastic conversion has been carried out to create a fantastic cozy living space finished with such thoughtful and quirky furnishings and fittings. Cleanliness was 10 out of 10 throughout the barn and everything that we needed was on hand. The inclusive little extras such as firewood, kitchen staples and toiletries of high quality were an added yet grateful bonus. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to visit again in the future. We are now back home and back to reality wishing that we had just one more night on ‘fire duty’ keeping the co-op barn warm and cozy whilst we idle the night away in total relaxation.

What an amazing little gem, we had a lovely two day break away with our little staffie, we wished we had booked to stay longer. The accommodation had everything you could think of, it was like home from home. It was clean, cosy and very relaxing. The hostess is very welcoming and accommodating, offering tea, coffee and many extras like milk in the fridge. The bed was comfy and the bedding smelt fresh and clean. We loved the rolled top bath, perfect for relaxing after walking all day. The location is excellent offering lots of walks. There is a fantastic local pub, called The old gate, the food was delicious with stunning views in the garden and friendly staff. We will definitely return and stay longer next time.

Nothing to dislike, it is perfect.
