I walked 20 mins from bus terminal to check in at another offsite reception as instructed only to be told that hotel was not operational due to water/electricity outages. And had to walk myself to another property-another 20 mins walk away in the summer heat with a heavy backpack. This could have been avoided if staff was to contact me advising of situation prior to arrival.

it was the poorest hotel ever I stayed. The room was overpriced and was not worth of the amount I paid. the breakfast was included but they had nothing for breakfast accept the scrambled egg and juice. without asking how we want the egg to be cooked and they offered me coffee without asking. The reception staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. for each and every single request he responded NO. without giving an alternative. and he was ok for me to live the property and book another hotel. I would never recommend this hotel

Next to the beach, basic room

The restaurant for the breakfast is very far from the hotel, the registration is in another hôtel in 5th av. Room is small. Not many equipment compare to other, miss some things in some rooms..

I have stayed here at least 6 times and i like the location (10 min walk to the beach, and a 30 second walk to 5th avenue). The accommadation..(the rooms have a kitchenette, a comfortable bed, TV, and a good WiFi signal) The building has a palapa roof terrace, with loungers and chairs. The breakfast is in a different location. The restaurant is a 10 min walkaway just off 5th ave and consisted of Eggs al gusto, a little fruit, coffee and Juice. I would choose Selva y Mar again.

"A Friendly Warning" This time there was a 'Rooster' in the garden next door which started crowing at 4.30am and continued until 8am. I know that it's not the hotels fault, but it did ruin my stay this time.

The place is located to one of the best seafood restaurants, El Pirata so that's a good start. The place is really quiet at nights and very peaceful. I loved the place and the staff is great. They are very kind and helpful people, specially Alma, at the front desk, so thank you all for the great times.

Receptionist Alma was very nice and helpful, I had several questions during my 7 day stay. She was always with a smile and reqdy to help. About the place itself Location is great

Location is good, still not worthy there are plenty options in the 5ta Avenida area.

Aside the fact that you have to go around the block for the front desk, and to take the very basic, scrumbled egg with nothing else but two toasts; the noise all day long, glass doors with a tricky lock, dirty whites (towels and bed sheets, that they tell you they'll charge you if you leave any stain in any of them upon check in. All of these I could have been OK with, but THE BED WAS BROKEN. Half of the bed was a whole in the mattress, how can a place offering stays cannot offer a decent bed? Forget comfortable! This place is not worth it at all, on top of everything you will not find the best customer service at the front desk, I guess they are bored of toursist. This isn't a good option at all, any other place could be an option but this one.
