Complete with kitchenware and furthermore, baby crib and high chairs which was very thoughtful. Very well suited for a family short stay. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Looking at the wild life was amazing!

Bedrooms were much smaller than I expected. with very little storage in the rooms. The balcony was rather small with large tables on it, making it somewhat difficult for 8 people to sit and eat outside together. The general facilities at Lower Mill Estate were not sufficient for the properties on the estate. ... This is not the fault of this house owner, but could impact how much a holiday could be enjoyed. The swimming pools and spa were rammed!!

Location was great, easy to walk to pubs, sculpture garden, nature walks etc. great outdoor pool warm enough for me to swim in. House suited our party of 9.

Internet connection patchy at property but internet available on resort. Spa pool indoor very tricky to book, bank holiday weekend and slots filled too fast for us to get one, luckily outdoor pool was warm and no booking required. Towels for outdoor pool would have been a useful addition.

Wonderful host, lots of information received before stay which helped with a smooth check in. Contact during the stay - replied to straight away, nothing was too much trouble even after an accidental breakage with a champagne flute. Spoilt for choice with utensils and wonderful board games. Pictures just don’t do the property justice it’s very spacious and we were very happy there.

We all loved our stay. The location and the facilities on site were great. The onsite restaurant is good but a little expensive.

Position, views, good contact with mona, but one of the main reasons for this second family new year at the park, were the facilities, which sadly were unavailable this year

The outdoor pool wasn’t heated, the outdoor sauna was broken for the entire 8 days, the pool was full of leaves, so obviously not cleaned regularly Hot drinks and pizza often unavailable due to staff shortages The indoor pool was either fully booked or chaotic, impossible to swim properly, and we couldn’t use the indoor sauna without booking a swimming slot. We would definitely return next year but only if these problems were addressed

Easy to find and get to from the M4. A lot of amenities promoted, such as luxury spa,but as we left shortly after arrival did not experience any of them first hand. Owner/Host Mona was super responsive and helpful during the booking process, replying immediately to my enquiries.

Property description was a misrepresentation. I informed the owner Mona that my 87 year old Mother would be with us, but was not told about the slippery, unmaintained decking leading to the front door, which presented slippage and injury risk. On entry, the property smelt dirty and damp. Kitchen sink unusable with faulty leaking pipe and stagnant water in cupboard underneath. The damage indicated this had been an issue for some time. Mugs and tea pot dirty. Number of door handles loose and broken, including ground floor loo preventing door closure when in use. Bathrooms dirty with one loo with poo in it and serious lack of cleaning under the rims and to the back. Loo seat and bath side cracked. Stains on carpet in top bedroom and wobbly '4 poster bed'. Property set up with extra beds despite stating we would be 4 adults only, so cramped and uncomfortable. Loose side panel on radiator in downstairs double bedroom running risk of injury, when going into adjoining en-suite. Furniture and scratched paintwork throughout, with staining on coffee table in living room as just one example. I called the property manager and owner immediately with no resolution - in fact Mona put the phone down on me. We left after just over 1 hour as the property was uninhabitable and returned home. The stay was planned as a relaxing 'luxury' family break pre-Christmas at a cost of £2,176.80 and my daughter making a considerable journey from Manchester to join us. I called booking.com immediately on returning home. They sent a 'reward' of £176.20 to my booking .com account which I did not ask for. As a result, despite 5 additional calls, booking.com have stated they will not do anything more unless the owner authorises a refund. I have sent numerous emails outlining the issues with photographs ( directly and through the booking.

Location was perfect, the size of the property was good for our 10 guests. The restaurant on the complex was really nice and the food was so good.

The tv didn’t work so we couldn’t watch films or tv for the whole of our stay. The hot water didn’t work either so we had to have cold showers. A door handle broke which we had to fix. For the amount of money that we paid for 3 nights we expected a lot more for our money. If we had the choice again we would not chose this property to stay out when we couldn’t even have a warm shower or relax and watch tv after a busy day.
