FABULOUS 1BED 1BATH Ground Floor Shared ACCOMMODATION ,Only Double Room

It was relatively cheap and not far from the city centre. The area was quiet and close to bus stops.

It was deep down filthy everywhere, especially the bathrooms where the ancient sealant was stained dark brown and gaps where the tiles should meet the bath and floors.. Old furniture that looks like it was salvaged from the bins, water damaged, stained and the plastic veneer falling off. Holes in the wall where the old curtains have been torn out. Broken sink drain where the water appears to drain into the furniture and a damp smell everywhere barely covered by cheap air freshener. Suspicious stains on the bed clothes. A previous keyhole in the front door blocked with toilet paper. Even the "welcome to Edinburgh" brochure was dated 2013.

Very difficult to locate as there’s no numbers on the outside of the buildings. We were walking around for quite a while before we finally located the property. There were no spare pillows or blankets and both beds only had summer quilts. Had to have the heaters on all night because of the inadequate bedding. Not enough glasses or mugs etc. Not enough towels and no tea towels. If these items are not being provided then this should be stated when booking. There has obviously been some water damage in the past so could do with a refurbishment

The location was ideal for access to the city and there was ample parking available however not easily recognisable as no bays were marked even with lines on the floor.

The whole property had a strange smell which I can only describe as damp ashtray mixed with stale food. There was the remanence of the previous occupiers (shown in pictures) The whole apartment was dirty and dusty. All the floors needed replacing and every tile in the kitchen was loose and unsafe with sharp edges. The laundry closet had the previous guests dirty towels in smelling damp next to the washing machine, there were a pair of someone’s used flip flops in the main bathroom. The Divan bed bases looked like they had been in the family since the 1970’s. There were stains and dirt smear on every mirror and window throughout the property. The fridge light didn’t work and it wasn’t cold enough to keep milk fresh overnight. The hob light didn’t work above the oven and not a single light had a lampshade round it leaving the place feeling cold and empty. The wooden floor was water damaged throughout the entire property as well as every skirting board needing replacing. The towels were all odd and belonged to a cheap B&B in Blackpool and the TV unit had been stolen from a hotel that had suffered flood damage as it had a broken Mini Bar still fitted inside it. Not to mention all the tat that was left inside (see pictures) Oh the nice touch that was ruined was the roses in a Paper Cup???? Which once they began soaking the water up became unbalanced, fell over and spilled water all over the table…..?! All Curtain poles were broke or not working. Curtains on backwards or not closing properly. Second bedroom door didn’t stay closed. I could go on all night about how bad this place was!

Absolutely disgusting property, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, cupboard where washer is, had bin bags left there, no idea what was in them, both bathrooms had cracks in the walls, didn't chance using the showers, not safe, legionnaires was a possibility. TV didn't work either. I understand it was cheap, but still expect standards to be met, this property didn't meet those expectations. DO NOT USE PROPERTY!

The location, the TV and netflix/prime, ease of getting the bus, 2bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, keysafe, dolce gusto

The 2nd bathroom shower was only connected to the taps so was difficult to get the comfortable temperature, there was someone elses flipflops in the bathroom, the toilet seat was broken. The furniture was very dated, and the kitchen floor was cracked, and skirtings and laminate.
