Sercasa - Kingston upon Thames

The apartment was comfortable and quiet. It had all that I needed. I liked that I could access transport, or basics easily and that there was a range of eating choices at the doorstep.

The entry laneway. The security gate was often left open. I also became covered in bites that I reported to the company as I believe that they were bedbugs. I didn’t like that I needed to pay for further linen or cleaning. I found a child’s tooth on the carpet and around the edges of the floor wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been.

We stayed for 6 nights at Apt#4. 1. Location - walking distance to Norbiton Station and Kingston Town. 2. Washing machine cum dryer. Washing powder provided too. 3. Amenities - groceries, street parking, restaurant, petrol station 4. Staff - respond and quick to resolve issues. 5. Patio - small and bright patio with garden chairs and table 6. Spacious bathroom and whole unit. 7. WiFi- Fast.👍👍 8. Heater - Individual heater for every space including the bathroom.

1. Front main door - not able to lock. Safety concern. 2. Pots and pans damaged by previous visitors. We got replacement after we highlighted this to the Sercasa Team. 3. Signboards to direct to the apartments because it is located (hidden) behind the front row of houses. 4. Double bed is small (for 2 adults) and uncomfortable. Reminder: No lift. Only 2 storey. If you have big bags or bikes, request for ground floor units.

Location was extremely hard to find. We had to go door to door to find someone to help us because the GPS location wasn’t showing us correctly. We were able to reach the property manager after 30 min of walking in the neighborhood. Manor Court was under construction and our Uber driver dropped us off at the top of the street. We would have had an easier time finding it if we were dropped off on the opposite side. Also the door on our unit was extremely hard to open. No complaints other than that.

Convenient and quiet location, high spec accommodation, with all the equipment needed for a short stay. Good communication.

It was very hot because of the glass roof to the lounge although there were fans provided. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and needed a firmer mattress.

Good little kitchen to make simple breakfast. Nice size fridge. Great to have a washer! Easy access to various bus stops. Loved the Indian restaurants around the corner! The mini Waitrose at the nearby gas station was very convenient for water, coffee and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious take away/ prepared Indian food!

It would be helpful to clarify that Floor 1 means one floor up and not the ground floor and let your guests know there is no Lift. That was a lousy welcome to the property. We had lots of heavy luggage. :( There is a building being renovated near the property so it was very difficult for the airport taxi to drive up to the property. We were fortunate that he was awesome and was determined and drove us as close as he was allowed. We had to walk by the building being renovated each time we left the property and there was always wood and other materials to navigate and not easy to walk. Someone at the property just dumped their bags of recycling materials on the top of the stairs and soon the bottles rolled across the landing and down the steps. The day we left, the bottles and bags were still at the top of the stairs. I reported this to the host. More clear information about what to recycle and which bins for trash and recycling would be helpful. Perhaps have information inside the flat. Accessing the garbage bin was also difficult.
