Cosy 3 Bedroom Beachfront Getaway in Mersea

Location fab , lovely quiet place and well kept site.

Caravan had a couple of maintenance issues, eg curtain broken shower door very delicate.

We had such a lovely stay here. The caravan is in a perfect spot on the park, close to the restaurants and shops, beach and lake. The caravan was clean, tidy and such a bonus to have a beautiful fenced of decking area. We all slept great, beds were comfortable. Would absolutely love to visit again.

The one tiny thing that would have made our stay a little bit easier is having additional baking trays.

The property was in a great location on Mersea Island, with the sea a few yards away and the Holiday Park was very good, restaurant fish & chips particularly recommended. Our host Yan acted quickly in trying to sort out a problem with our boiler.

The central heating failed to work so the accommodation didn't meet the 'cosy' description and also generally lacked a bit of TLC.

Lovely spacious living room, plenty of seating. Bedrooms were tight, but that's to be expected in a 3 bedroom caravan. Everything we needed for our one night stay. The site was very clean and tidy. We ate in the restaurant, the food was very good and the staff were very friendly.

It got a bit cold overnight. Could have done with heavier weight duvets.

We did not find any positive aspects during our stay

The mattress was in very poor quality, springs coming through , making it extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on . We managed around 2 hours sleep & had to leave early as a result, Although a mattress topper was offered this was not an adequate solution given the conditions of the beds overall accommodation did not meet basic standards and had a high significant negative impact on our stay , ground was water logged with no safe paths extremely unsafe for elderly or disabled people no Wi-Fi connection, no parking when arrived no access to get through to caravan had to make numerous walks with heavy luggage after along journey :(
