Cathedral Quarter Hotel - Derby

The location was great. Staff were helpful.

Got given a room which had literally no room to move in around the bed, it was dated patches of tape on the walls, curtains hanging off the track so we requested a room change. We were given another room which was better, however overall it is clear that the rooms need upgrading as they are tired, need tlc and housekeeping dont clean your room daily to my surprise. The bar is not manned and closes early if no customers so not ideal if you fancy a drink.

Impressive architecture, close ti city centre yet quiet and pleasant

The building sprang a leak from the roof. Seems such a shame for all the interior

Very central location, very clean everywhere, towels and bedding

I upgraded as a friend wanted to stay with me, it was a small dark room, not value for money, problem with room key cards, breakfast a bit disjointed ( that was a Groupon deal)

Good value for £56 , clean and just what we needed for an overnight stay

No receptionist which made check in difficult as we needed to check in early to go to a wedding

The location near the cathedral, the style of the building, ,the welcoming staff and the breakfast, tea/kettle.

Not much parking space, or street parking.

The staff were excellent, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was in an ideal location for city centre.
