Modish and Spacious Apartments at The Exchange on Erwin in Durham, North Carolina

Flats are great, clean, quiet and well equiped

I absolutely loved how close the property was to Duke campus, I was there visiting my little sister and it was just a quick 5 minute drive to her dorm!

The only thing on the property that gave us trouble was the entrance gate. It was broken out last night there.

The location is great for visiting Duke. The apartment is spacious and well-appointed. They communicated in a timely manner.

The instructions for gaining entry were incorrect and the WiFi code and instructions were for a different unit. The apartment was not that clean (leftover coffee pod in machine, dirty floors, stained sofa,..) and for the cleaning charge it should definitely be clean. They also reset the door code before our checkout so after coming back from an early morning run I was locked out of the apartment.

Location, price, space and cleanliness.

We had a hard time locating the building late at night during a rainstorm. A very greedy young lady who lived in the building indicated we were in the right place. Your directions mentioned the third building, but it was hard to see at night. I would also include the number on the building. That would be helpful.

2nd time staying here, and it was worth the stay again. The apartments are clean, comfortable and have all of the amenities needed for daily living. The staff are available via messaging and telephone, and are very prompt with responding to your needs. Check-in / check-out was very easy to follow. Would definitely recommend.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. There were a couple of items in the apartment that needed repair /replacement but they were addressed.

לא הצלחנו להכנס לדירה במשך 4 שעות!!! איש התחזוקה ניסה מאד לעזור, אבל לא הצליח לתקן את מנעול הכניסה הדיגיטלי. נאלצו להחליף את המנעול הדיגיטלי רק למחרת. לקח לאנשי טאקר 4 שעות ולא מעט שיחות טלפון כדי להעביר אותנו ליחידה אחרת, זהה, שהיתה בדיוק ממולנו... בעלי נכה על כסא גלגלים מחובר למכשיר חמצן והשהייה במסדרון במשך 4 שעות היתה קשה מאד עבור שנינו. נאלצנו שוב אחרי יומיים לעבור ליחידה המקורית שלנו בעזרת איש התחזוקה שהיה מאד לעזר. (שמו Azamat ). השהות עצמה אחרי ה''הרפתקה'' בהגעה היתה נעימה מאד. (סה'כ היינו ביחידה 3 שבועות) רצינו להאריך את השהות במספר ימים נוספים וביקשנו לקבל late check out או early check in כדי לא להשאר שוב במסדרון 4 שעות .פקידת השרות היתה נחמדה מאד אבל אמרה שאין לה סמכות לעשות late check out עד השעה 15 (יכולה רק עד 13) והיא תחזור אלי במייל או בטלפון. לא קיבלתי כל התייחסות וביטלתי את השהות הנוספת שהזמנתי. לא היתה לי כל כוונה לחכות שעתיים במסדרון. החוויה הגרועה הראשונה הספיקה לי!

Being rushed during checkout and receiving a phone call a half an hour after I left telling me when checkout was as if I was still there because the cleaning lady clearly called someone bc I was 15 minutes late leaving. There should be a courtesy and I didn’t appreciate the rudeness of the staff that cleans up.
