Fishergate Luxury Town House- Close To City Centre

Central location, with three good rooms, a living room and kitchen. Had the basics in the kitchen to make breakfast (although no microwave) and if we wanted we could have made dinner. The room on top is nice with a cool set up, but see my note about the heat below. Also low ceilings in some areas that may not be suitable for some

The non ensuite bathroom on the first floor is actually kinda inside a room and a bit awkward to share with very close door spaces. We were there during a heat wave and the top room was boiling hot, a fan would be a nice addition. A single set of keys for three adults was not ideal. There is quite a bit of noise from the road, earplugs recommended

Fans in the bedrooms would have been great, as it was very very hot at night.

Location and spacious layout

Lots of stairs but we knew that at time of booking so not a problem It would have been better if we had been able to check in earlier than 4pm as we had to come back from town to collect our goods from car park and take them into the house

Great apartment. Very comfortable. Very clean. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Beds were large with a firm mattress and soft linens. TV's in every room, large lounge with comfortable sofas. Places to sit and eat in the lounge and kitchen. All white goods in the home. The outside of the building was off putting and we thought it would be noisy as its on a busy road, but we all slept with our windows open and it was very quiet. In fact we all slept really well. Bathrooms great, with large towels which we appreciated. Loved the suite on the top floor although the stairs are quite steep but manageable. It's close to the centre of the city with a good selection of places to eat within five minutes. Great value for money and we all agreed we would definitely stay again.

Nothing we didn't like. If I was going to be picky, there are some stains on the carpet but the carpet was clean as was the rest of the apartment so it was not a big deal at all.

Excellent location being 10 mins walk from anywhere we needed to get to!

There was scaffolding surrounding the whole building which we hadn’t been informed of. It could sleep 6 adults however the tables could only seat 4. There was an inconsistency of plates, cutlery etc and 3 broken glasses. Quite a few stains on the carpets.

Great location Lovely properly very clean

One room had no hanging space or plug sockets near a mirror so we had to share our friends room to get ready which was very cramped. The main room on the top floor also had minimal plug sockets which meant ideal when you have 6 adults all trying to get ready. Thanks the only fault I could pick.

the town house was great lovely location

struggled to sleep due to scaffolding around the house. plaster falling from the ceiling. we had to pull a unit in front off cupboard door due to roof being open at the rear anyone could of climed up and walked in felt very unsafe. would of cancelled our stay if I was aware of the work being carried out.
