Clifton Hampden B&B

Breakfast was excellent and served spot on timewise. We were walking the Thames Path and wanted to have a stop- over at Clifton Hampden, so an excellent location for us.

Staff were friendly/ location

Property was run down and a bit cold.

The young lady did everything, cooked, cleaned, served. She was very polite, but she clearly needed help. Our room was comfortable.

Not very clean. Bin and toilet brush in the bathroom, dirty and rusty. Breakfast was cold, didn't get what we asked for, very basic.

Room was spacious, warm and comfortable.

The room needs a little TLC (paintwork, etc)

I was in Room 3, Outside 1. Very quiet 2. My room had a bath which I wallowed in 🛀🧽 3. Great size TV with Netflix and YouTube 4. Great location for The Thames Path 5. There was a bottle of filtered water in the room which I thought was a nice touch 6. I slept really well in the cosy bed 7. I really liked the style of wooden furniture, ornamental bed frame and taps in the bathroom

1. Some areas in the room require attention: broken magnifying light in the bathroom ; the glass shelf wasn't secured to the brackets; one of the big lamps had no plug attached 2. The top of the bed frame surround had a lot of dust, so I damp cleaned it 3. The toast for breakfast needed to be 'toasted . It needs to be left in the toaster for longer so that it is chrispier.
