The Garden Rooms at Tannery House

Location was perfect and the view of the garden from our room was beautiful.

We had a twin room. We were quite shocked to see how narrow the beds were. I was quite concerned about my elderly mam sleeping in the bed. I hadn’t actually seen single beds this narrow before. Thankfully she didn’t fall out but I never slept a wink and kept waking up all night which was quite annoying as I had a long car journey ahead the following day. Our bathroom light stopped working as well as some annoying and quite loud random noises coming from the bathroom and we were also quite disappointed with the quality of the cooked breakfast.

Friendly welcome, sitting in sunshine overlooking beautiful garden. Breakfast was very good. Very central to Bakewell, shops and river. Lovely and quiet.

I assumed there would be a hairdryer, and a larger bed would be appreciated!

The Tannery is in the centre of Bakewell and so convenient for the town, but if you want peace and quiet the Tannery is ideal

I think the decor is a bit tired and the shower over flowed.

It was good being central to town and having your own car space. The outlook into the garden is very nice. The breakfast provided was scrumptious and just involved a short stroll down to avenue house.

The accommodation was perfect for our needs. Its right in the centre of town with parking which, as anyone who has visited Bakewell , will know is a great thing to have. Breakfast was served in the B&B down the road as was very good. Sarah was really welcoming and friendly and we will definitely stay here again if we plan to stay in Bakewell.

Excellent breakfast with good gluten free options. Very centrally located although also very quiet and secure. Lovely garden outlook with outdoor furniture which, given better weather, we would have enjoyed.

The entrance is very narrow but we quickly got used to it. The light over the basin did not work which made shaving a little tricky. However, these were only very minor items more than compensated by the plus points, particularly the friendly staff.
