Orion building apartments ,OPOSITE GRAND CENTRAL,FREE CAR PARK

Very central clean and comfortable

Close to station and shops. Secure flats. Parking available free if required.

Perfect location. Literally few mins walk to New station.. there was a shop just below building for to get food essentials. Kitchen had adequate utensils but could do with a few tea towels etc. towels were provided etc which was great to save taking with us . Value for money. Beds were clean and comfortable..living area had great space. People previously commented about noise from trains but really after an hour you don't notice it anymore. It didn't bother us 🙂 there is tea coffee sugar etc supplied.

The apartment was grand for what we needed as we attended a show at NEC and just needed accomodation over night. We weren't spending time at it really. It could do with a little maintenance. The ensuite must have been have to be broken into as the door was repaired badly 😕 . There was a hole in the ceiling of ensuite too. The shower rail pulled off if you hung something on it. Door lock was badly screwed back on so cldnt even close the door. There is no WiFi and unless you have a netflix account or Amazon prime you can't watch the TV. It could be an even better apartment if it was maintained to a higher standard. Attention to detail can be everything. 🙂 It was adequate for what we needed.

The whole place could do with a bit of TLC everything is looking a bit worn

It’s so close to the centre and train station and a big apartment with plenty of space and two bathrooms. The host was super helpful as well and made it very easy.

There’s some parts that require repair/redecoration but it didn’t impact our stay. Whilst the key collection/drop off is close, it’s awkward when you drive as you need the key fob to get into the carpark but there isn’t anywhere suitable to park whilst you then run to drop the key back

The apartment was clean and spacious in a great location and very reasonably. Owner was good with letting us check in earlier and answer questions.

The staff who run the apartments were unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude. There was someone outside our party who accessed the property and had broken the lock. The owner was deeply apologetic and did ring to check we was okay.

Needed a little bit of tlc

It was quite difficult to find. Also very difficult to do the key hand off if you’re alone in the car because there’s nowhere to park. Apartment was lovely though.
