Numerous maintenance issues are required to be fixed. Check in instructions should be sent earlier, as they can be read and checked before arrival at property.

Two off us travelled from Leeds and Cardiff for a one night catch up, hence the location was superb, just a few mins walk from station. Delighted to have a bedroom/bathroom each and for the price this was excellent. Convenient and clean, as opposed to luxury. A few items need painting/replacing etc but none of these bothered us. We had comfy, clean beds and clean towels and hot showers. We used the apartment to change and sleep.

Everything, The keys are not kept at the property, you should receive a what’s app (outside of bookings.com) with instructions on how to get the keys. As we didn’t receive this message we asked the concierge who promptly told us that the building was a private residence and was not allowed to host rental guests, and we should call the owner to get keys. One phone call later and we’re making a ten minute walk to a newsagent with a special code to collect keys. This finally gave us access to the room. The flat had a funky smell to it which turned out to be a kitchen sink half full of stale washing up water, thoughtfully though the cleaner saw fit to leave a roasting dish in the cupboard under the sink to catch the drops leaking from the blocked sink. Owner called said he would get someone round within the hour. Never saw anyone, or had an apology from the owner. As it was late in the afternoon and we had plans it was too late to find alternative arrangements so we stayed, two couples. Looking around the rest of the apartment it looked like an old abandoned flat that someone had dressed up with tired furniture to rent out. The flat wasn’t clean there was hair and dust all over the floor, the bath and the shower in both bedrooms were stained. 3 out of the four windows had no way of locking them to keep the noise of the station out. There was no hot running water, no internet and no tv. It is a very tired apartment with the minimum upkeep just to keep the lights on. I will not be using this renter again.
