"Pleasant stay in a quirky old pub"

The staff were very friendly, the family room was a good size.

It’s an old pub with old windows so traffic noise was a problem. Could be a bit cleaner. Base of shower needed a clean and room was a bit dusty.

Lovely welcoming, comfortable pub. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The cooked breakfast ( available weekends only) was delicious. We also ate dinner on our first night and it was yummy. Thank you

We didn’t stay at the property as when we were shown to the room we found it extremely dirty with urine on the toilet seat, hair on the bed and dust on the bedside table and floor. The breakfast room had not be cleaned either. When we told the lady who checked us in she said she hadn’t had time to do a “deep” clean. Quite frankly it had not been cleaned at all. The photos do not show just how dusty the room was.
