Afav was very polite, very welcoming and helpful.

Lighter quilts would be good in this heat. Stair doors bang when closing.

Unfortunately not a lot. Man who checked us in was very friendly but kept on about us writing a good review

I arrived at the property with my son and found it extremely difficult to locate. The receptionist acknowledged this and offered free parking for the inconvenience. When we entered our room, there was a very unpleasant smell. I opened the window to air it out and then noticed numerous marks on the walls. On closer inspection, these appeared to be dried mucus, which was extremely unhygienic and unacceptable. At that point, I decided that neither my son nor I could stay in the room. I collected our belongings and informed reception that we were going out for food, as I did not feel comfortable discussing the issue in detail at the time. During our interactions, the receptionist repeatedly mentioned writing the hotel a good review, which I found unusual. While driving to another hotel, I noticed that the property had tried to contact me. I have since discovered that my booking was cancelled and I received a refund of only £3 despite having paid £50. I have stayed in many hotels over the years, ranging from budget accommodation to higher-end properties, and I am not concerned by a hotel being dated as long as it is clean and maintained to a reasonable standard. Unfortunately, the condition of the room and the overall experience meant that I did not feel comfortable staying here, and I cannot recommend it based on my experience.

Location was good for me.The bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels where clean.

It needs upgrade.Stain on curtains, rusty electric radiator. Handle missing on Shower door.The room was clean ,but looked dirty because of the outed furniture and carpet.

Staff chap on reception was good.

Everything else. Cost 29p more than booking.com said but would have been over £10 cheaper via hotel directly. However I guess GO2 have never visited this hotel. If they had pride in their name and brand, this place would be shut down. Would be easier to demolish than refurb.

Parking was good, location was good, helpful staff

There were not any drinking glasses just the mugs in the room and 1 had a crack in, I asked receptionist if any drinking glasses or spare mugs but, not so she washed up 2 that the staff use which was nice of her. The lock on the door was very loose it just needs screwing back on! The extractor fan in the bathroom was ridiculously loud, I went to reception to see if anything could be done but, there was nobody around! It sounded like a jet engine just so loud then we found a switch high on the wall that turned it off. There needs to be better low lighting & bedside tables as nowhere to put a drink down when sat on the bed. The large ugly dark brown desk had a weird soft top on it, made of foam I think.

Clean , simple, cheap.

Finding the place please have a bigger sign that's seen on the road went round and round and round again please have the proper name visible GO2 .
