"Very smelly dirty hotel...stay clear of this place"

Filthy, smelt of wet dog and strong smell of cigarettes as I walked in the hotel. The room had filthy thread bare carpet, curtains had holes and hanging from the railings, hole in the wall, The manager was very scruffy and rude. Didn't stay once I saw and smelt the place I said I could stay there and went else where.

I didn’t like anything the smell was probably the worst thing. Was in the property about 20 minutes while I was: 1. In complete shock at the state of it and 2. Searching for another place to stay

Leak from bathroom, room wasn’t ready for us. Clearly have some agreement with the council to house homeless. Absolutely stank or stale smoke and alcohol and wet dog. Carpets and walls stained

"Dont stay here"

Nothing. The beds were usable and the shower did work - but that was all.

This place was not fit to be included in the Booking.com website. It stank, the place really was dirty, unpleasant and certainly not somewhere to take your children. It felt rundown. I am surprised it was listed and I will think twice about using Booking.com in the future as i cannot trust the choices on the website.
