Birmingham City 2 Bedroom Apartment

Worst experience with host.. I received a message from host stating they wanted £200 deposit, identity and a signed rental agreement before our stay for 1 NIGHT I was concerned this was a scam and emailed the property. NO REPLY. We arrived slightly earlier than check in and there was no key boxes and gated access to car park. A van was parked outside. It was the plumber waiting to get into the property. I tried several times as did the plumber to contact the property. We eventually got through only to be told that because I hadn't provided the £200 deposit etc they would not grant access. I then provided the details and phoned the property contact several times only to be told that the credit card had not been processed. After an hour and a half and no help from host we left the property without being able to stay as the plumber was still in the house at 17.30. We had tickets for a concert so had to find alternative accomodation. IF HOSTS EXPECT YOU TO USE THIS NEW SYSTEM THEN COURTESY SHOULD BE EXPLAINED TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS. I TRIED TO PAY 5 TIMES - AND I DIDNT WANT THE HASSLE OF BEING TOLD MY BROWSER THAT I WAS USING DIDNT WORK WITH SCREAMING CHILDREN IN THE BACKGROUND

It had secure parking ,good location to get in to the center of Birmingham and the hippodrome . The apartment was very spacious was good to have a en suite as there were 4 of us. Comfy sofa in the lounge.

The smell as well walked in was very off putting . Unfortunately the carpet in the hall was soaking wet and smelt awful I had to buy some carpet freshener it didn't dry out at all during our 2 night stay. I did try to contact but had no reply .

The location was excellent , the space was very good . The locking mechanism was very easy to use . The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent . Overall it was a great stay for the day in Birmingham.

Two Rooms did not get warm at all despite heating being blasted .There was limited complimentary soap so we had to purchase our own. The thermostat was pretty hard to navigate and the boiler was making noises which I hope get rectified for future visits

Arrived at apartment and it was not available after I had it booked and payed for

The fact that I couldn’t stay there

It was cosy on suite in the one room nice apartment the beds where super comfortable

Had some issues about when arrived and such stood outside for almost two hours but it was sorted so not that bad just was a bit unhappy
