Location, parking, lounge was comfortable for sleeping on

Needs all glasses and crockery replaced, not enough for 4 people Was advertised as 2 double beds and 2 singles but only 1 double bed and 2 singles Broken toilet seat Kitchen utensils had to be cleaned before we used them

Residência muito bonita e confortável, tudo perfeito. Ficamos em 4 pessoas lá. Recomendo ela aos viajantes.

The interior of the property was modern

The outside area was full of rubbish as were the bins. There was used cigarette ends outside the rear. The toilet seat was broken!

Camas muy blandas

Good location. Not noisy even with trainline very near

Not clean. Blinds did not work properly. No pillow cases on a pillow. Toilet seat not working, unsafe. Cutlery did not function- knives broken. No info as to how the tv worked - trial and error….. The stylish decor lacked lustre due to the general air of neglect which permeates this air b n b. The garden requires attention as numerous weeds and dead plants.

The unit was nice, nicely decorated and comfortable

The rug in the lounge was very dirty. Dishes, cups, knives and forks were sticky and in some cases, dried food was stuck to them. Cutlery was incomplete. One of 4 knives were missing and there were four guests. One tea cup has lipstick on the rim. The garden is overgrown with weeds and the outside bins were full. The shower drain was blocked. Water was slow to drain due to hair blocking it. No plug in the kitchen sink.

The house is very comfortable and clean and breakfast cereals, tea and coffee, and milk were provided which was very useful and there is a corner shop a hundred yards away for anything else you need. I would have liked a bedside lamp, and curtains as the blind rattled somewhat when the window was open. I would stay here again as it was a short walk into town and the station and I didn't need to use the car at all.

I booked The Chic Haven due to its proximity to York Racecourse as I was running the York 10k run on Sunday. I asked for key information a few weeks ahead of arrival to find out what i needed to do but didn't get any reply, nor when I messaged again the day before arrival. I finally got the key code when I was standing outside the property and can only assume that there have been issues in the past so that key collection is only given out at the last possible moment but a message to that effect would have been very useful.
