This is such a little gem and would highly recommend booking here. Sachi and family are very welcoming nothings is too much trouble. The rooms beautiful, clean, lots of space with a lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast in the garden was lovely the food was beautiful loved the Sri Lanka breakfast. Locations It’s 5-10 min walk down a steep road to the town but Sachi will pick you up and bring you home if available. If you want to do a tour or see the sites don’t prebook as Sachi will arrange and take you around in the tuk tuk organise with the property. This place is amazing and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very helpfull host.

We had a great accommodation at Home Away Ella! The room was so clean and the host took care of everything. Inside the room we found tea, iron, box of emergency, etc. The bathroom had also everything (shower gel, hand wash and body wash). The breakfast was big and really delicious. We also tasted some local’s plates. In general the family was amazing and really tried to help us a lot! They suggested shops, restaurants, attractions, taxi.. everything! For sure our best accommodation at the island.❤️

From the moment we arrived to Ella we got the warmest of welcome by the lovely hosts. They picked us up with tuktuk and welcomed us with tea, coffe and a snack. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and as comfortable as possible our whole stay. They helped arrange a trip to secret waterfall and also helped us to go on a safari the day we were leaving, even giving us breakfast to take with us at 4am in the morning! The room was clean, and had everything we needed. The patio in front of the room was cute. The walk into Ella city was no more than 5 minutes and you could also get a tuktuk with the hosts. The breakfast was also absolutely wonderful! Would recommend everyone to visit this wonderful accommodation!

Sachintha was the most amazing host. She made us feel so welcome and made us a delicious breakfast every morning. Her husband even took us on a day tour to see some waterfalls. Their daughter was also very cute and would come to say hello at breakfast time. What a beautiful family! We feel very grateful for such a wonderful experience during our time in Ella.

Lovely family, fantastic breakfast, great location although a slightly steep hill from a main road.

We had the best stay. The room is so comfortable. We like the bed and linen. The husband and wife take such good care of us and sort everything out for us. The shower is nine and hot and the breakfast was excellent. We liked everything about the place and our stay.

Great accommodation. Host is incredibly nice and goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable (even waking up at 5am to cook you breakfast). Clean room, nicely presented. Walking distance to town. Very happy with our stay :)
