Home Away Ella

Located a short walk from Ella center, in a beautiful garden. The room is clean and comfortable. We noticed that some guests complained in their reviews about lack of hot water, but there was plenty of hot water during our stay - just follow the host's instructions :)

Beautiful room and amazing breakfast, can just recommend it.

Breakfast was tasty. Host Sachintha, is very friendly and accommodating. She kept in touch with me before and after my stay to check in with me and even organised her husband to come pick us from train station. Her place is absolutely clean snd delightful, bed is comfy and short walk to main street. She was able to assist with train and bus times, along with recommendations for sights to see. Highly recommend and would stay again!

The room was immaculate and even had some beautifully laid out decorations.

I can’t imagine better stay in Ella. Owners are the sweetest people that will help with anything you can think of. Location is perfect, close to city center (5 minutes of walking) but not so close that you will be bothered by noise that comes with busy town such as Ella. Everything was clean and bed was comfy. Free wifi, fan, towels and soaps provided. Amazing breakfast.. the pancakes are to die for. An 10/10 stay.

Sachi and Hansa were lovely hosts. They are very welcoming and their entire family was very friendly. Their little daughter was an absolute delight! As well as a fantastic homemade breakfast we were provided with tea/coffee and snacks on arrival and offered the same when we came back from a hike. We were given rides into town if needed via Tuk tuk. The room is great value for money with some lovely little touches, such as a first aid box and additional toiletries. The location is great - 5 minutes into Ella on foot (although via a steep hill which may be difficult for those with any additional needs)
