Really warm welcome from everyone which was great after a long drive. Fabulous room and exceptionally clean and bed really comfortable.

From the minute we turnd up . They where so helpful in all ways ...

They went tha extra mile to help us and make the stay even better...

This is what a proper pub should be - friendly landlords, chatty locals, good beer and excellent homemade food! Breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble. Room was lovely with not only a beautiful, really comfy bed but a great squishy chair to sit and read in. Brilliant location for accessing Bath and West showground and also Wells, Glastonbury and Bath.

Phil and Jo were warm, friendly and like meeting new friends. The locals were also friendly and spent throughly enjoyable evening in the bar. I had a 5* ploughman's the best I can honestly say that I have ever eaten and homemade chicken curry was exceptional too

location approx. 1.5 miles from the wedding venue we were attending. Evening meal on first night and breakfast the following 2 mornings were excellent. Phil and Jo (owners) were really great.

4 adults stayed there for 2 nights and, due to refurbishment work being currently undertaken, one room was a little incomplete. However, Phil gave us a brilliant discount and both he and Jo couldn`t have been more helpful.

Excellent grade II listed historic inn in a convenient location. Secondary double grazing made road noise negligible . New tenants Phil and Jo, lovely people making an excellent job of refurbishment and rejuvenation of the business. Very comfortable bed and room. Real Ale and food excellent albeit that it was understandably on a restricted menu. Arrived on 2 motorcycles and were made very welcome. Ground anchor was in place but we didn't use it. Excellent motorcycling roads in this area and this will make a wonderful pit stop when they have the proposed Tea Room up and running.
