Seaview Apartments at Coral Point Sibaya, Umhlanga

The property was beautiful, spotless, and exceptionally well maintained. Its location was ideal, with easy access to the beach and other nearby amenities. The accommodation itself was charming, comfortable, and made for a wonderful stay. As an added bonus, the adorable resident monkeys never missed an opportunity to stop by and say hello, adding a unique touch to the experience.

Here’s a polished and professional version of your message: Upon our arrival at the accommodation, my team and I were warmly welcomed by a gentleman on duty who ensured that our check-in process was smooth and that we were well taken care of. His professionalism and hospitality were greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, our overall experience was negatively impacted by the conduct of a female security guard on the property. Throughout our stay, she repeatedly made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. It often felt as though we were being unnecessarily monitored, with frequent visits to our door to question our activities. On one occasion, I was accused of being excessively loud while simply watching television, which was not the case. The constant scrutiny created an environment where my team and I felt more like intruders than paying guests. The situation extended to parking arrangements as well. We were prevented from using the designated parking area, as the guard refused to open the gate and made several negative remarks. This added to the overall feeling that our presence was not welcomed. As a result, I did not enjoy my stay. What should have been a comfortable and pleasant experience became quite stressful and unpleasant. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future guests can enjoy a more welcoming and professional environment.

There isn’t anything that we didnt like

It was able to cater for my family space requirements. Good location and quiet area. Each bedroom had a designated bathroom which was great.

1. Check-in process was too long and messy. Spent over 30 minutes, going back and forth. I had to make many calls after being ignored. Some contact number was on vmail which made the whole process frustrating. 2. The cleaning lady who came in as we were checking out was very unfriendly and rude. Didn’t even respond when i greeted her. She even started shouting at my kids citing we should have been gone by then. 3. The refundable fee of R1000 : we only booked for the 3rd of April 2026 but had to wait until 16 April 2026 to get the refund. Had to remind them every second day about the refund. And i was told the policy states that you receive this fee after 7 working days and the interactions were rather indifferent and showed no sense of care for the guests. 4. The beds: The height was very low especially the main bedroom- almost felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The height is ok for kids but very impractical for adults who also require height to execute other private exercises.

The location and security

No wifi, as indicated on the website, dinnerware does not accommodate the capacity of guests they accepted to accommodate, blocked shower and toilet with constant running water, incorrect information from room number, packing, and wifi credentials which never worked due to non payment and waiting for access over 30mins at the gate due to poor administration

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Coral Point Sibaya! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, and you can really see the effort put into keeping the apartment clean and welcoming. The service was excellent from start to finish — communication was smooth, and everything was handled professionally. We felt safe, relaxed, and truly at home throughout our stay. We actually enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for a few more days, which says everything! The location is perfect, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway with great amenities like a pool, gym, and secure environment.  I would definitely book here again without hesitation.
